Heroin What Is IV duration? + Does IV boost tolerance faster?

I've got two questions tonight...

How long does the high lasts when you IV H?
I love the rush but hate how the high goes away super fast. I'm high for maybe 5 or 6 minutes then I'm ready for a next shot...even if I use 6 bags the rush is more intense but the high duration doesn't change. This is why I been sticking with the straw (even though I literally just did a shot lol) and IVing Every other day or sometimes 3 day gaps. Snorting lasts sooooo much longer !!

Does shooting increase your tolerance faster than snorting??
My tolerance is already sky High but I'm curious to know if you sniff 5 bags then sniff another 5, would your tolerance increase at the same rate if you were to do the same amount, same order but bang it?

IVing it increases your tolerance the fastest. I agree with the length of high with snorting it, when I used to snort it I could blow my bags at 7:00am and literally feel good until I went to bed that night. Now that I've become an IV user if I shoot up at 7am there's a big chance I'm going to be sick before I go to bed that night.
 
Yea I just did a small 3 bag shot and I really am debating on doing another 3 dose right NOW

Considering that IVing has a higher BA it will increase your tolerance more if you IV 5 bags than if you sniff the same 5 bags because you are getting more of the drug in your system when you IV it.

You shouldn't be IVing so often though, even if the high wears off. It's not good to be high all day everyday. I wait until around 6PM or so to get high, this way I get my high for that day and then fall asleep without looking to do more. That's one of my favorite things about opiates, since it's not fiendish like stimulants, and is more of a once a day thing where you get high and then you just pass out when it's over. That's why waiting until later in the day to dose is the key to keeping you from dosing so often.

I recommend you try the same if you don't want to keep going through so much dope. If withdrawals are an issue during the day then try snorting a tiny bit at a time so you can keep the withdrawals at bay before taking your bigger dose for getting high.

The IV high lasts about 5 hours for me, compared to 8 hours from snorting. If I take a lower dose then its more like 4 hours from IV, and 6 hours from snorting, so I guess you can say that IVing lasts 2-3 hours less than intranasal. For me, withdrawals start about 6 hours sooner with IVing compared to intranasal dosing.

I guess you should consider your ROA if you prefer lasting high instead of peaking effects. In the end IV'ing is all about peaking and not enjoying the whole experience, even if it lasted longer.
 
The high lasts a pretty long while even with IV.. I mean, I'm talking until it goes away completely. The rush only lasts a minute or so, maybe less.. but then after that most people have a good high going for at least a few hours. When I was heavily strung out, I would normally take a shot every 6 hours or so.. But, me being somebody who loves the rush so much.. sometimes I'd do another one just because I wanted that feeling back. Duration of the high wasn't that important to me.. it all depends on what you want out of your dope.

Also, yes technically dose for dose IV will raise your tolerance quicker but I've seen a lot of people rack up a huge habit from snorting it too. If you keep using regularly, your tolerance is going so sky rocket, no matter what your ROA.
 
Thanks, guess it does increase tolerance faster. This is why I preffer railing. I like staying high all day. Im thinking im going to stick to what im doing now- shot in the AM, shot before bed, and rail the rest of the inbetween time
 
If you rhigh lasts 6 minutes you are getting straight up garbage. No if;s ands or buts. You spend the money on a 6 bag shot to get high for 6 minutes? What the fuck?
 
The last time I did IV heroin it lasted for 12 hours, but that was pretty much close to an overdose (I vomited at least two dozen times in those 12 hours).

A safe, responsible dosage of IV heroin would probably last 4 hours in total, the rush being the first part of it which is going to vary depending on the dosage.

I didn't IV heroin a bunch of times to find out, but I'm sure it increases your tolerance way faster than snorting. A responsible, normal dose of snorted heroin lasts about 6 to 8 hours.
