Mescaline pills

I know that mescaline is pretty rarely found in pills nowadays, but i got word from whom I consider to be a credible source that some was going around my area (Seattle). I know that nobody can tell me if what I am getting is actually mescaline, and it could easily be a RC. My question is , are there any common things about mescaline that I could identify just by looking at a gelcap?

The pill would have to be at least 300mg or in other words a horse pill. That's all I can think of off the top of my head, check out erowid's mescaline vault for more info.
 
Chances are it'll be the sulphate salt. If that's the case, it'll be insoluble in alcohol - if when you shake a small amount with a few ml of alcohol, it dissolves, then it's either mescaline HCl (which would be unusual), or it's an RC posing as mescaline.

Or, if you have access to the facilities, you could always try a melting point test.

And yes, 300mg of mescaline will fill an 00 capsule completely, so if you can make out 2 different substances as being present, the alarm bells should start ringing
 
Its a standard size of capsule. Someone more boring than me can probably give you precise measurments.

More than likely unless your given more than one pill to consume then it isnt mescaline. Either 1 BIG pill or 2/3+ larger than (large) ecstacy tablets.
 
Mandelin reagent gives an olive-brown reaction colour with mescaline. This can be confirmed by testing another piece with concentrated HNO3 (nitric acid) which will produce a red colour for mescaline

I came across some capsules that were 200mg, tested deep orange with the Marquis and lasted 12-15 hours. It was sold to me as Mescaline, however a friend of mine says that there are a few mescaline analogs that will also change orange on the marquis. He told me I shouldn't have been tripping that hard for only 200mgs. Any input?

Depends on the mescaline, 30-40 grams of dried P.Torch is what is commonly suggested for 1 person to have a moderate experience.

could be 2c-b or 2c-i seen those sold as mescaline along with nbomes being sold as mescaline but as previously mentioned it would have to be a pill the size of your fist and also mescaline will nevr been found on blotter for that same reason that 300mg will not fit on average sized blotter

Haha 300mg won't fit on the average-sized blotter. :p NBOMes wouldn't be sold as mescaline because NBOMes are not orally active, so it wouldn't make sense, yes?
 
200mg of mescaline (as either the sulphate or hcl) is a tiny dose, you will not trip balls from that. 250-300mg is considered a lowish dosage, and 400-500mg standard. Mescaline has a strange dose/response curve.

Basically if your handed something we would consider a normal pill or capsule and your told its mescaline - you should really expect zero results. If you have any effects, its not mescaline.
 
sorry pal your wrong nbomes sold as acid and mescaline they are orally active there's hcl and freebase so check your self first knowledge is power

the most common "synthetic mescaline" is 2c series, and DOC.
These are also fairly common pressed into tablets

Both Escaline and Proscaline are a lot more potent per weight than mescaline.
 
The ether was wearing off. The acid was long gone. But the mescaline was running strong. Good mescaline comes on slow. First hour's all waiting, and then about halfway through the second hour, you start cursing the creep who burned you because nothing's happening. And then...
