first off, i am married. so i am not trying to pick the guy up and he knows i am married. but he lives down the street from me and frequents a lot of the same restaurants as i do. he suggested my husband, him and i grab a bite to eat this week and he gave me his email address. i am not sure if it was an empty gesture because we were stuck next to each other on the plane or if he truly wants to hang out.

i am mostly amused that i met someone else who spends as much time in the PNW as i do. where we also have some mutual acquaintances.

i've met people under stranger circumstances so i will prolly end up emailing him. but i was curious what other BLers thought about the matter.

Sounds nice. He invited you both to come. If you don't take him up on the invitation, you're likely to see him around sometime and maybe make a plan at that time.

That sounds like a nice way to meet, fun encounter.

thanks guys :)

i ended up sending him an email seeing if he wants to grab a bite some time. i left it open ended, saying we could either meet around here or when we are both back in seattle. we both take weekend trips of there quite frequently and will be going to the same concert in a few weeks (tickets here sold out).

i realize this prolly sounds rather odd to suggest meeting up 1,000 miles from where we live. but apparently other people fly to the PNW with the same frequency as i do.
