Been avoiding my dealer, now what do I tell him?

So, about a month ago I took it upon myself to take a break from smoking cannabis. I had mainly bought from one guy as he had the highest quality bud I could find. We weren't friends by any means but we had a good business relationship, and I bought off him almost every other day.

Anyway, I didn't tell him about my break, or anything for that matter. I just stopped called him. He then proceeded to call me randomly and send me text messages asking me if "everything was okay" for a couple of weeks until he eventually stopped. I guess I could've explain the situation to him but I felt so fragile that if I ended up texting him, it would lead to me buying before my break was over.

Anyways, I successfully completed a month with no weed and now I'm looking to smoke again. I bought once off a friend and it was terrible and I want to buy off my old guy again. I still have his number, but I really don't know what to tell him. I feel like it looks bad for me not to have called him and ignored all his calls/texts, what's a good excuse that won't garner too many questions?

He's a chatty guy so I definitely feel like it will come up. I know it's meant to be just business but what are some good excuses?

THANKS.

you wanted to take a break...? just say that, what's he going to do, not sell to you..? i sometimes don't call people for ages and they really don't care...

this is not what BL is here for. you should of nutted up and just told your "guy" you were taking a little break from the start. If you two had such a great business relationship you could have told him that but when you need some buds youll be hitting him up for the goods and said he has great quality. now hes going to be sketched out and think you got caught and are a teller or something. good luck. weeds everywhere your going to make it :]

We had a good business relationship-not a good personal one. I'd rather not discuss my quitting/personal issues with my dealer.

Maybe I'll just tell him I was on vacation lol 8(

you dont need to say why really. could just be financial reasons. why try and lie to the dude? just be a man and call him and say whats good

I bet he'll be more excited that you are hitting him up again, than more annoyed that you stopped.

You owe him no reason. As you say he's not your friend. He is making easy money off of other peoples addictions. If he has a problem with you taking a break then he should fuck off, but I think he will happily accept your cash for the overpriced black market item he is distributing. All he really cares about is your money.

dude quit freaking out. just call the guy and say you need buds and you took a break because you were broke. you dnt even need to say that either. just call and do your thing. it seems like you need bud and are scared to call him. dont be that way. just fucking call. end of story. let us know how it goes.

Who knows ? As a dealer he probably gets rude people who dont respect his house, people showing up late at night drunk, people who always asking for credit and a number of fake friends who only hang around for his weed.

maybe you're more polite and respectful than his other customers and he enjoys your visits ?

He was asking if you were ok, not telling you that he had awesome gear in. Maybe he thinks of you as friend on some level ?

Go round and score, but bring an xmas card is my advice =-]

wtf just tell him the truth, exactly what you have told us. i dont see what the problem is?

if your dealer is good tell him and he wont bug you. he will probably smoke you up when you start again too.

but it is good to inform him, so he doesn't count on you when he gets his supplies.

or i dont get it you just havent talked to him in a while?

story of my life bro, just call him

If I was your dealer I'd be cool if you rang me up and said "yeah mate I took a month-long break from weed but i can smoke again now you still selling?"

Chances are that your dealer has a lot of clientele besides you, and if you're not friends with him on a personal level, why do you care so much about hurting his feelings or something? I'm sure he was disappointed to not be doing business with you regularly anymore, but if anything, he'll be pleased that you've decided to start going through him again. Call him! What do you have to lose? The worst thing he can say is no, but I highly doubt he will.

Yeah he is. Call em dude

There's been plenty of pill/weed dealers that I have blown off more then once but they still answer the phone cuz they want that cashish

just call him. i dont see the need for this thread. dont be scared OP. just take the input from the people on this thread and see.

Dear OP,
If it makes you feel any better; as someone who overthinks and used to suffer from phonephobia i totally understand why you'd agonize over this
