LSD degradation/salvation?

got some tabs that are meant to be 400ug from a reliable source

i was told how to store them and everything but when i took em out of the freezer it appears that the artwork has somehow stripped off the actual blotter paper (the art is stuck onto the baggy whereas the pink tabs which the art must have been attached to at some point is separate)

my friend ate a whole tab which should have had him in the stars but is barely getting anything :(

firstly has my cid somehow degraded?
and also can i salvage it anyway?

In the freezer eh? How long did you store them for? Was there condensation on the bag?

400 ug? What are those tabs, like 1 cm^2 ? That's ridiculously high for a regular-sized tab, I don't think I'd trust any seller who was claiming that kind of potency.

If the LSD has degraded there's not much you can do. If there's condensation on the bag that's dissolved some of the acid... you could try licking the bag?
 
Let me start by asking a few questions of my own.. How exactly was it stored in the freezer, just straight in the bag? Also, Did you try it before storing in the freezer? If not, perhaps it wasn't ever as strong as you were told (it seems unlikely as Clocktower pointed out that they were 400 mcgs to begin with). Under ideal conditions lsd should last 50+ years, as there was a link on Erowid where Lsd stored in an amber glass tube at room temp for 50 years with no subjective loss in potency.

Now I can't really say for sure but, I am under the understanding that a plastic bag is not a suitable place to store LSD, unless I suppose you were to wrap in tinfoil first. So I suppose some of your L could be stuck to/in the bag?

Now I am also not 100% on this either, but... I believe LSD is soluble in water ,make sure you do not use tap water, chlorine kills LSD to my knowledge. So why not rinse the bag a few times with something like RO water, and then just use the water?
 
only in the freezer for 2 days
it was in a baggy which was then wrapped in foil and then put in a airtight metal container in the freezer
no it wasn't tested before being put in the freezer

the artwork off the tabs seems to have separated from the actual paper jus leaving pink paper then smeared artwork on the baggy :(



also the tabs are not 1x2cm but the paper does seem pretty thick

pink tabs? 400mcg? sounds like 25I, buy an ehrlich test kit. do they numb your mouth?

the only reason that would happen is if the tabs were "wet" with something - usually condensation

you have probably fucked up all your acid.... i don't get why people have to be so anal about storing substances in the freezer... lsd on blotter paper is fine stored at room temperature in a dry, dark place
 
lesson learnt for next time, thank fuck it wasn't too many tabs

^What sekio said. Condensation on the inside of the bag is the biggest risk of storing tabs in the freezer. The fridge or just a cool drawer is a better bet.

By the way, the usual method for storing LSD is tabs inside foil inside bag, not tabs inside bag inside foil.
 
listen to sekio and tangerino, they know whats up.

and im a skeptic at the best of times but i highly doubt there was 400mics in that paper. people with 400mic tabs know how to store them. and people laying 400mic tabs are pretty careful with who they give them too.

If the artwork has been stripped off then chances are some of the acid has gone with it. Pure water shouldn't affect LSD but any amount of chlorine in the condensation would render it useless.

If there truly was 400ug on each tab (which I really doubt), then it might still be worth it to try doing those tabs. Even if only 25% survived, that's still 100ug per hit!
