I dont know if this is the right forum which is something i should probably know after so many years on bl :)!

I want to know what you guys think of the sex industry in general.....i have always been involved in the sex trade one way or another, i have never been for it or against it but i have been fucking working girls since i made my first ticket to pick up a prostitute. what do you think of the sex trade, prostitution etc....?

i work with girls who want to work and try to treat them the best i can but i feel like this shit gets a whole lot of hate from a lot of people and i want to know why? forget stereotype pimps, because the industry i know isnt like what you see on tv at all!

what i want to know why it is more acceptable to peddle dope than to make a few coins off girls who mostly are nympho's anyway??

No issue with it at all. People have needs & if there were not people to meet those needs then there would be a lot more sex based crime. I don't agree with the exploitation side but if you are 18 you can make your own decisions good & bad. I think that streetwalkers who are clearly strung out are walking victims waiting to be fucked over but that is the choice they make. If they don't want to do that then they can get out & steal for what they need like others do.
 
It depends on the kind of prostitution. I don't have a problem with escort services as long as they're concerned for the well-being of their girls, but street hooking is pretty fucked. Also, OP is from Denmark where prostitution is regulated by the government, and likely less sordid than the illegal sex trade in America.
 
^i agree with regulation and everything there's nothing wrong with that approach to the sex industry.

where i live, i walk by street hookers every day, they go up and down the streets flagging down cars and harassing me for smokes. It's not a big deal but they are clearly drug addicts, constantly slur their words when they talk to me but are otherwise harmless. Much better people to be around than some of the sketchy drug dealers who also roam around, usually in cars. In Canada, i'm pretty sure it's only illegal for brothels to operate and to solicit in public.

So it's not regulated but no one gives a shit either. Street hookers sometimes get talked to by cops but nothing is done and each girl seems to control their own territory (not sure whether it's organized like this or not). When one girl leaves an area, there is another one to step in. There is no shortage of escort services either, usually just from independent women looking to make money. I don't see a big issue with that either. I really don't think it's near as frowned upon as someone who openly sells opiates/crack/whatever else (which does not really happen here).

it's also starting to get pretty cold here like hovering around 0 celcius and girls are still out walking in their winter gear, which i find kind of funny.

Regulatation and monitoring by the government may work to reduce the prevalence of things such as human trafficking and underage prostitution to an extent. But even in countries where prostitution is legal (that includes my home country, Germany), the business attracts all sorts of shady figures. I'd rather work in an industry where white-collar crime may be going on than in one plagued by organized crime and violence. ;)
 
Prostitution is older than the human race and will be with us until realistic satisfying virtual reality sex and relationships are sold as an app for your ifone.

Monkeys have been seen trading sex for food. The price goes up when their are less females and down when their are more females. Supply and demand in monkey prostitution.
 
The sex trade kinda grosses me out...I dunno, I just think there's something very unsettling about picking up a random person and paying them to sleep with you. I'd really rather not have sex at all.
 
the fact is that prostitution is going to happen whether we like it or not. from my point of view i think its a bad career to get into, but if someone is going to do it then it should be legal to protect them and give them rights.

if you're going to go low enough to sell yourself you should be able to keep your earnings instead of handing them to pimps to stop you being beaten up.

regulation and legalisation.

its going to happen anyway- reduce the damage to the individuals who do this

I have slept with plenty of prostitutes from age 18-27 & have no problem with it. I reckon every man has been at least once in their lifetime. I used to have the attitude of "I'm going out to have a good time & focus on having fun". That may mean going home alone, picking up a random girl when I'm out or popping into a brothel for an hour or two. It would just depend on where the night would lead me + it is fun going with your mates. If you are toey you can either go home & masturbate or have sex with a very good looking woman for a certain price.

I would always be high & usually drunk but a very well behaved customer. I lived a short stroll from some of the better brothels in Sydney & I would never use a streetwalker & have never got a "ring in". After I would be chatty & they did not give a fuck as they were paid to just be there. Some of the shit they would tell me was crazy. 50% were abused as kids & probably 25% were uni students & another 25% were just women who loved sex & enjoyed getting paid for it. You can guess which were the most fun to fuck. Half were drug addicts but a lot were just very switched on women who were making an easy $ whilst studying or paying off their house quickly.
 
It was cool until drugs came along.

Plus it pretty much destroys the concept of meaningful sex.

All of the prostitutes I know are the most sexist women I have ever met. Since I'm not going to pay for sex, They immediately treat me like trash. I don't even flirt with them. They think all men are dogs. There is no point in trying to be friends with someone like that closed off.

I think it's a fine thing to be able to do, if you are honest and open about it. It's practice with these people, and practice makes perfect.

I kinda get what you mean though, all too many people seem to be able to just fuck about...the reality is not the same as what we perceive though - it's just throwing up brick walls in front of ourselves to try and control emotions. In the long run it only hurts us.

I know it is terrible for society - it seperates people.

It keeps people being in dysfunctional interpersonal relationships, and it's vice - all vice is negative.

The creative input it takes to blow a load could've been put into something much more worthwhile, like working on talking to real people.

It's just as easy to have sex with someone for free as it is to pick up a hooker - all you have to do is be yourself, and you can't go wrong.

Maybe that's the point about picking up whores - you're not being open-hearted and loving, you're being fearful of not being able to love someone or relate to someone, so you pick the easier option - using someone's body to get your release. It's ugly.

Well I think you gotta cut them some slack. I think selling yourself to a bunch of nasty men all day who either can't get a girl or are cheating on their wives and going shady would taint your idea of them. I doubt they get very many women doing it.
