Its probably a godsend that you've avoided being prescribed Pregabalin Shambles. It really isn't the panacea that people claim it is. Short term its lovely and you will no doubt be too euphoric to notice your knee pain. Unfortunately, however, tolerance builds pretty rapidly, its a massive weight gainer and worst of all it has a dramatic effect on cognition.
Its also a lot more addictive than pfizer have claimed. Meta studies suggest dependency and withdrawal are on par with benzos.
Just mixed 2 shower gells together and it had a weird eggy smell, wtf was that about

What type of pain do you have Shambles?
Ah that sounds rough, been going on since childhood too? Pain and general discomfort that isn't massively acute doesn't tend to get taken too seriously in the young, often leading to later problems.

Trust you'll have a chat with your doc' about thisMaybe they're just not familiar with 'em as painkillers round here cos I'm not sure they're necessarily recommended for use as such on the NHS are they?

Wowsers! It's Mr Fishy
I will mention it as so many have brought it up in connection with chronic pain. I do have my doubts in terms of costs outweighing benefits but that's probably just down to a lifetime of opi's being in and/or around and about the place...
Hope and trust all is well with you and your shoal![]()
