Well for starters i'm not comfortable around strangers when I shroom, the anxiety kills me. I want a nice clean roll at Porter Robinson and just have a blast shrooming with my friends for NYE. Will the two not get along the next day?

Nah, the serotonin depletion will make your trip a lot worse. Just think, you're probably going to feel tired and not so good the day after your roll. If you take shrooms, it will just amplify those bad feelings
Fucking postman stole my weed.
Sent some weed back from amsterdam (heat sealed and in a DVD case but the package looked bait as fuck forgot to even write a name on it because I was high as fuck) and all that arrived was the DVD with all the weed taken out. The package had been torn open and just resealed with tape, no customs letter or anything. Some postman somewhere is a very happy man.
Although I sort of planned ahead with sending my weed back, my mate just put his in an envelope (it stunk) which was pretty much identical looking to mine and posted it in the same letter box as me at the same time. So it wouldn't surprise me if someone just smelt his weed and realised both our packages most likely had weed in them.
Not a happy man, had about 7g of Amsterdam weed in that package, 1g of caramella hash and maybe .4g of Bubbleator ice hash (which is 40 euros for a gram).
I'll be more careful next time. And I'll bring more back in my luggage.

Fair enough, luckily I have been fortunate enough not to experience a bad comedown (besides my first). I space my rolls out appropriately and also dose appropriately so I barely experience anything the next day. If I'm really feeling like shit I'll just smoke and drink.

I live in Chicago and that's what it makes this so much weirder.
Yeah there's some pretty nice weed down the right road (I catch your drift), but it's still not quite as good as the weed I had in Amsterdam. Although I know the atmosphere and environment in Amsterdam makes getting high so much more fun so that might have something to do with it.

Will there be some sort of equivalent to the coffee shops in Amsterdam? I mean legal dispensaries are good and everything but nothing beats sitting down in a coffee shop with all your mates and sparking up.

Sorta, there's still laws against public intoxication so you can't just get stoned as shit in a public park or anything. The dispensaries just sell the pot, so I don't think you can smoke there but it would greatly surprise me if the State didn't set up a few designated places for people to toke up

If I lived in Washington/Colorado and had the funds or the knowledge I'd be attempting to open my own coffee shop, if there were designated places to get high it would reduce the amount of "public intoxication". If you didn't have clubs, bars and pubs you'd have way more people just drinking on the street. So there needs to be an equivalent for weed. I don't think they should worry about public intoxication with weed as much as with alcohol as long as people aren't sat in the middle of the street hitting bongs in front of kids it should be allowed.

You can't think that they wouldn't have some form of place for that sort of thing.
As I've read they will be regulating just as they do tobacco, not sure if this is true. But many places have been created just for smoking tobacco related products in closed envornments, I'd assume somewhat like coffee shops. With all this talk about good marijuana products becoming legalized recreationally, I think I should be making a visit to the US soon then.
