Amphetamine (speed) first time question

HI Bluelight awesome people ,

I have a question regarding an amphetamine i took today if this is the rights place to ask , i snorted one line and drank the other one after one hour nothing happened , then after two hours i drank another dose i might have taken more than 300 mg and still after one hour no particular feeling just felt my heartbeat increasing also my pupils are dilated. So the question is , is this normal or the quality is bad , it is a powder type with small lumps, the taste was really bitter and smelled really unpleasant like some wall paint chemical . Thanks
 
Sounds like you just have some shitty amphetamine. It's the sort of drug that is usually very heavily cut though, and quality varies a lot, so it's pretty much impossible to advise you in terms of dosage, you're just gonna have to work your way up.
 
I dunno whether or not you're taking methamphetamine or amphetamine, but to me it sounds like it lacks a substancial amount of the D-isomer (which hits the reward center quite well.)
 
Well the dealer agreed to give me a refund so it's all good :) Thanks for the info.

its interesting all the posts i see from europeans about the powder amp they get and how prevalent it is in europe cuz i have never seen it in the u.s., however there is lots of methamphetamine in powder form and in a rock like clear substance they call glass. there are also lots of pharmaceutical amp pills on the street like dexedrine, adderall, ritalin etc. but no amp powder....just an interesting thought that people would cook just plain amp. caffeine is a popular cut, here with meth they use b12 and msg quite often.
 
Well Phet usually smells terrible so you must have had something at least resembling it. The best street speed is usally gummy and damp and best when bombed in a rizla. I think you just got some bum gear. You would have been able to tell from one line if it was any good.

I remember when I was given some speed and I wasn't that bothered about taking it, so I left it to dry out and eventually it did so to the extent I could cut it up into lines and snort it. I did, and it had barely any effect at all. I know that it would have been reasonably strong when bombed when it was damp so in drying it and making it into powder something was lost. That may be what happened with you.

Where are you legi0? Powder ( amphetamine sulphate ) is not so common as it was in Europe ( UK at least ) it's mostly base, or so called base. Wet fudgey stuff, often cut to fuck and back with glucose. Sweet taste obvious even with the amp bitterness and cat piss / ammonia smell. Decent powder too should smell strongly of ammonia. IME amphetamine sulphate powder would tend towards yellow, even pale browns in colour. Could be white but unusual, though it's been a while since I've seen anything other than base in my circles.
