Missed heroin shot 45 days ago & the lump has gotten worse, please help!!

45 days ago I muscled a shot of H in my butt & about 4-5 days ago it started to get real sore and it has also gotten pretty red. The lump is about a 1/2 to 1/4 inch deep & it hasn't opened up. Is this a deep abcess and I can't tell cuz its deep? Or is there another reason it just started getting sore and red? I really don't want to go to the Dr if I don't have to. Has anyone experienced anything like this? Please help!!!! Thank you!!!
PS. I don't have a fever or any signs of infection, just the small, red, sore lump in my but cheek.

Thanks guys!! It's so weird cuz it was fine for over a month, just a small lump. Now its sore to the touch and rosy pink. It just sucks its so deep I can't see it, just feel it & see the pink. Have u ever heard of anything like that before? I will go to the Dr, I just hate how much it costs and they tend to treat u different when they find out you use. Thanks again for responding!!!
 
Oh, I forgot to ask. I've been using for a while now and I am going to sound like an idiot, but I have always used cotten or a tip of a ciggarette, and I have never heard of a Micron filter. Is there a big difference between the two & where would I get one at?

Yes there is a huge difference between the two.. Micron filters will remove much more, almost all actually, of harmful and unwanted shit from your shot. A piece of cotton still lets a lot through, though it is better than no filtration whatsoever. You can get micron filters online.

And about your arm.. you should have went to the doctor a while ago hah. So do your self a favor and go now. You'll get some antibiotics and it'll be fixed up in no time. If you don't go it could get much worse.
 
there is an enormous difference micron filters make injecting anything exponentially safer and you can buy them online just google micron fllter 0.2
 
Thanks so much guys! I'm new to this forum & its so nice to have people like you helping others!! I'm going to go to the Dr & post what they say & get some Micron filters. I didn't even know of there existence. Thanks!!!!!!
 
45 days. I just got back from the Dr and its a lump that turned into an abcess under the skin. It's crazy because it took over a month for it to turn into one.
