What Dose of Valuium to use to Raise Sizure Threshold with Tramadol?

Evening Chaps!

Now I'm a long term Tramadol fan and in my niave days have taken silly numbers (16 in few hours, etc), but having read about seizures since (a long while ago) I've only ever gone up to 10 (50mg) in 24 hours.

I have some 5mg Diazapam (Valium) tablets, what is the lowest dose to raise the siezure threshold? I like Tramadol as is, so unless it's WAY better with Valium I wanna keep the dose as low as possible. 5mg enough?

Even with this I will only be going up to my 10 cap limit.

Valium lowers the chance of seizures anyway, so I MAY be wrong but I would think the more valium you took the less likely you would be to have a seizure... That said, I am NOT a doctor, I am just a dickhead with a keyboard so do not use that as valid medical advice.

Why not just take an opiate/opoid that DOESN'T induce seizures? Tramadol isn't very good anyway. Seizures are definitely not good in the slightest. Why don't you find a drug of choice that is both good and won't make you have a seizure and maybe wake up dead?

Yeah I know it does that's what I meant by 'raising seizure threshold' but wondered how much was needed.

I know many people don't like Tramadol for various reasons, but I absolutely love it. Puts me in SUCH a good chatty mood and I feel amazing. As for other opiates, the answer is simple, I simply can not get hold of Oxy's Codeine, Hydro, Fentanyl, etc! And no, I'm not going on the streets and getting Heroin (LOL)! I like to opiates as an alternative to alcohol on the weekend which means I'm actually doing my body a favour!

No idea how people in the UK get hold of any of this stuff, tbh! Only because I have a friend who is prescribed Tram's I can get it. I prefer them to codeine for the simple fact that whenever I feel good on codeine it's always dampened by the feeling of 'oh god it's gonna be over soon' which is weird but true! lol Re-dosing doesn't have much of an effect on me (for the enzyme reason I assume) and I don't like taking loads as I'm a healthy, fit guy that does this on the odd occasion or when I feel down/upset about something, not a smackhead! lol

There are quite a few places to buy Tramadol online but generally when I have bought it has been the same way as you: from someone who is prescribed it but doesn't bother using it so sells it on.

Just take 5-10mg it won't hurt anything. usually when i take benzos with tramadols for the same reason i take 2-4mg of klonopin/1-2mg xanax/10-20mg valium. not that those are equivalent doses or anything that's just usually how it does and it works quite well

How much tramadol (in mg) are you planning on taking? Even a very small amount of a benzo will reduce the risk of seizures. Are you trying to ask how much is needed to eliminate the risk of seizures?

I usually take 400mg at once then take another 100mg a couple of hours later.

I don't intend to take anymore than 500mg really, just want to safeguard myself the best I can.

Could I go higher than 500mg with Valium? I have no intention of taking heroic doses, just want to enjoy without worry!

Also, any idea on the best codeine/Tramadol dosage combo? Can do a Cold Water Extraxtion for codeine. I've taken both before with amazing results but can't remember what those dosages were!
