So , to make the long story short.
Took 2mg etziloam in the morning and right now a friend came by and bring some heroin.
Should i do it or should not ? I don't want to stop breathing , or go to hospital or something because my foolishnes
Thanks

I'd advise against it, or if you do, take a lower dose than you normally do. As you rightly mentioned, benzos+opis is a combo that has a lot of OD potential, be careful with it.

I would hold off a while before doing this. That would make for a dangerous combo.

Just wanted to second (third?) what nAON and T. Calderone said, it's not a wise idea and if you do decide to do it use a much lower dose of heroin than usual. Also even if you don't die, you could easily have a crazy black out, pass out etc. I have no idea when you took the etizolam though - "this morning" is really vague considering this is an international forum.

ok , so around 6 hours ago.
So from heroin i passed to methadone and i will do @ 30 mg
Hopefully i will not die , i have friends with me that know everything and can tell the medics.
Wish me luck. :|

Both central nervous sytem depressants i would get use to the benzo first,.So you know your tolerance and limits. Also my friend you saying your friends will call the medics if sometthing happens. If i was told that something would click and i,d think there is a real possability of danger here do i want to be in that position air on the side of caution my friend.Dont run the marathon till your use to the training!!!!

Please let us know if you're ok! Methadone and benzos is even more dangerous. People can go to bed seeming fine and just not wake up. We have no idea what your tolerance to etizolam and to methadone is like so can't really give you accurate advice, it's always best to err on the side of caution.

yeah, please respond to the thread afterward so we know you're ok:)

it's good and an important factor that you have intelligent and are kind enough friends to ring for medics if things get heavy. stay safe.

what's yourr usual methadone/opioid tolerance? what's 30mg methadone measure up to?

Well in the end i did 2 shots of methadone , each @ 20 mg , i didn't black out , i didn't throw up or feeling bad but i will never do this again.I don't want to risk my life for nothing.
Also , one question if i may : one shot that i did at the elbow ( main vein ) didn't go so well , it didn't hurt right away , but after a little while my hand started to hurt badly.Right now i can't get my hand straight , it hurts constantly. What do you think happend ? I used sterile 2 ml syringe.
Thanks

Edit : right now i see that where my hand hurts the skin is red.And it hurts from the "shooting site" right up to the muscle.

Yikes you injected the methadone?!? What was it, the liquid kind or pills? Both contain inactive ingredients that can be pretty terrible for you to inject and it's really not worth it.

Honestly I think you should see a doctor. You're having pain and redness that are getting worse and sound pretty severe if you can't move your hand properly. I would see a doctor. In the meantime apply hot cloths to the area. You could have an infection or some kind of a reaction from the inactives or a missed shot. Do you have any other symptoms of infection like swelling, area is hotter than the surrounding skin, red streaks or a red line leading from the injection site, fever, feeling generally sick, etc? Please don't hesitate to see a doctor, especially if this doesn't rapidly improve or if you have any signs of infection.

Yes it was in pill form , i smashed it add some water and then filter it with a cigar filter.
And how the hell could be infected , i also shot in my other hand and there is no problem.
On the hand with the problem , over the injection site is kinda bruise ( like when the vein collapsed ) and that redness is like 10 cm further on the arm.Where the skin is red is a little bit warmer than the rest of the hand.
I don't want to go to a doctor ( don't know what to tell them and then maybe they will call the cops :( )but if there will be no improvements in a couple of hours i will go.

Well since you asked your question in a "should I or should I not?" format.. I'll give you the only answer that anybody should give you..

If you're talking about whether or not to do heroin.. the answer is always. "Fuck no"

That being said.. if you're going to do it anyway.. start dosing very slowly. Take an almost laughably small dose at first and cautiously build up. It's nothing to play games with.

I don't know where you live but I have never ever had a doctor or hospital call the cops when I was seeking treatment for a drug-related injury, overdose, etc. You could say you screwed up and you have definitely learned your lesson and are never going to do drugs again, you feel so stupid, etc, to make them more compassionate. Also I don't see what they could even call the cops for, it's not illegal to merely admit to having done drugs in most countries. As long as you don't have any drugs on you and they don't feel you are a danger to yourself or others they should just treat you and let you go. Don't let fear stop you from getting medical treatment! Your health is more important.

You can do the same drug in 2 places and only get an infection in one, that's normal. It could also be complications from a missed shot, or possibly injecting too close to a nerve or something. If you can't properly move your hand that is really not a good sign.

How is your hand/arm feeling now? Have you been applying hot cloths? If it's not getting better please see a doctor!

It's better than yesterday , i can move it more freely and it doesn't hurt so much.I think i just broke the hole vein because it hurts right where the vein passes .
I began to take antibiotics , but still it\s a zone that hurts and is more warm.

^are they prescribed anti-biotics for the matter at hand? please don't go taking AB'S without having them prescribed for one reason or another. don't take them as a preventative on your own merit even though it may seem like a good idea, you may be doing yourself a disservice.

You seriously don't know how this could cause an infection? It took me a year of training before getting certified in IV therapy (I'm a paramedic). Not saying that you can't do it without formal training, but if you don't understand aseptic procedure then you shouldn't be injecting. Did you use sterile water or NaCL to dilute or tap water? Tap water contains a lot of additives which is why it is never used in the hospital.

Honestly, it sounds to me like you blew a vein. Its common if you infiltrate during the stick or attempt to infuse the solution too rapidly. Whoever mentioned the infection is probably right. It's also safe to assume that since your vein blew, and the solution came into contact with your muscle and tissue, it may have become necrotic.

I'm not trying to sound harsh, but this is a harm reduction site and I advocate anyone learning the proper skill set before trying to administer their own injections. It isn't difficult, but there is a specific way you should do it to be safe.

Did you pull back the plunger once you entered the vein to check for flash (to make sure you were in the vein)? How fast did you push the meds?

Please be safe!

Yes , the first 2 tries were fail ( when i pull back the plunger only air come ) but after this is was good , i pull and the blood appeard. My mistake here is that after the first shot in 1-2 hours i try to inject in the same place but failed ( and only very dark blood come out ).
I can almost stretch my hand straight but the pain is still there but in another place , this is weird.
And the antibiotics that i use have a large area of action , including this types of infections.( AMOXICILIN )
I didn't want to shoot in that vein in the first place because over the time it became harder and harder ( when i touch it )

Just came back from the hospital. It is an infection , they gave me an antibiotic , something for fever and a gel to rub the skin where it hurts.Hopefully i will be ok.
They said , if the treatment doesn't show any reaction in the next 5 days i must go to the hospital again and stay there in their care.
Wish me luck :(

Mixing methadone with benzos is much more dangerous than mixing heroin with them imo. My friend oded from 30mg of metadone with 2mg of klonopin while never even coming close to oding when mixing dope with xanax/klonopin. To an opiate naive person methadone is much more prone to causing a deadly od.
