tonight was fish n chips n mushy peas, from the freezer and a tin.

tomorrow having an Irish stew, cooked it this evening. going to serve it with spuds, brown bread and a few cans of ale.

Went down to support the Korean shop owners' kids higher education. Got more noodles.

In this one the noodles themselves were in a plastic bag and were moist, not dried, sort of like fresh noodles but all squishy and oiled. It tasted quite bland I have to say, luckily I have also bought the Bumbaclaat ones with the actual chunks of meat, got the pork ones this time. They will be eaten later as I'm still hangovered and slightly nauseated, I don't want such refined items of high cuisine to go to waste.

They the cheapo noodles? Mm wish i liked them, my ex was vietnamese though so she could make some banging noodles, never been a huge fan. Reminds me though igot a chicken and a lamb samosa in the fridge, along with a load of fruit, all that plus junk food, in my head cancels itself out into a nice healthly balnced diet lol. Want to learn to cook, i know a bit of the basics, but its hard with my oven since i have to at least double, sometimes triple the cooking time on food packets

Chicken tikka or lamb samosa, not sure which, apple sliced into segments

and a satsuma, as well as a bar of ice cream and packet of snaps i have left. + a coffee, a delicious but not s suspicious breakfast

Well those ones are the most expensive kind of instant noodles, not the basic ones, they are like 3 dollars at the shop, the normal ones are 75 cents, these have a lot more bags of flavourings.

Hey I had a half French half Vietnamese girlfriend years ago too, she was more into coke than cooking though.

Just had these now

They have actual chunks of meat in them, these ones have pork. They tasted fab(obviously I'm writing about food so I have to use posh language)

Thems is indeed mighty fancy-looking instanoodles. Meat looks a bit fatty (can't stand fatty meat) but is a matter of taste, I suppose. Definitely look better than the Pot Noodles with "real meat" in. Tried one (think it was bolognese but can't quite recall) and was truly rancid. Don't mind a standard Pot Noodle but those "GTI" ones are just wrong all over :|

Just munched a ham and cheese toasty. Was cheap 'n' nasty cheese that's gone a bit soapy-tasting but thankfully it was the last of it and I need to go shopping in a bit. Will buy replacement cheese of higher quality.

I haven't eaten any fruit since I left Europe in August, not even once, only vegetables I've been eating apart from jarred pasta sauce are tomatoes and I usually only eat like six a week. I made a few strir fries a couple of months ago with some of those veggie bags they sell in supermarkets, you know like the stir fry mix, cut and washed but apart from that nothing. I haven't been eating much meat either, some kangaroo burgers and that's it, never bought any other type of meat at the supermarket, only beef I had was from fast food.

I honestly don't think my diet has ever been this bad, I mean even in my darkest days of deep Taco Bell addiction in the states I still managed to eat better. I think it's the prices, going to the supermarket here you need to remortgage your house.

I'm with you on fatty meat, don't think I could stomach the pork in Kenny's pot. I had this argument with Mailmonkey about steaks, he likes a sirloin marbled with fat to the extent of ridiculing me for prefering a lean fillet. Some monkeys will always be chimps though.

I've been eating Cathedral City Vintage 20 lately, pretty damn good for a mass-market cheddar. Very good on toast.

Not only me, kate too.

You have a particularly undeveloped pallette if you think the best steak is lean red and fat free.

fat adds flavour, texture, and sets you apart from a retarded OAP.

And now we hear you rate cathedral city as a quality cheese.

I suggest you keep out of this thread in future. Along with jancrow.

it's Saturday morning so the frying pan is on, sausages, rashers, black and white pudding, fried brown bread, eggs, tomatos and beans.

taking orders now but cant promise delivery.

I ate some shameful shit last night actually, I blame drinking and smoking masses of weed on an empty stomach. I approached the counter of a well known fast food outlet twice within ten minutes and also did in half a tub of ice cream when I got home. Bad times.

Not a fan of chewy fat texture thanks!

I said it was good for a mass market cheese bugger lugs! You going to have a go at Shambles for enjoying Davidstow Cornish Cracker eh? Well are you, punk?

You clearly don't understand meat at all knokando.

you and Mugz should do a house share, maybe thats a bit too far, but a sort of Come Dine With Me weekend would be good, you'd both be in your element.

I don't understand why you'd want to chew your way through a lump of fat when a nice bit of tender, lean muscle is an option.
