Malwarebytes.

Agreed, if people cant afford Kaspersky ( and cant or dont know how to Download a cracked copy, just get Avast with Malwarbytes and Comodo firewall)

That combo will keep you safe as houses. and all 3 are free online

I go for Kaspersky as it basically has everything in one program, and once you have it installed its only 20 quid a year to get the upgrade online

yeah, for some apps, but for this Launch Box you NEED rechargeables, really... I used to get through about 8 of those high powered rechargeables a day....

they would, but would be very slow...get a charger with a very high mA output figure...once you've been using the MFLB for a while you get used to how many decent hits you get off a battery, how long it takes to properly charge...when I was using the Launch Box exclusively, my life revolved around batteries, and my charger....

I don't normally get excited about pipes and stuff as I don't smoke much but that launchbox is a very nice looking little device.

You can get a mains adapter for it https://sales.magic-flight.com/index.php?p=product&id=75

Wait a minute, Dot wants something to help get rid of this software that isn't malware or a virus by the looks of it. I don't use these programs cos I use Linux only but it seems people are just throwing out random names of security products.

YPDH, I seriously think you should just complete the install, I would expect uninstallation will then become possible if you want to do that.

edit: and if it still won't go then try Malwarebytes, which seems to be the only actually relevant thing people have suggested.

Malwarebytes.
that's ontop of an antivirus/firewall program?

For all the Kaspersky lovers, you know you can get it for free if you bank with Barclays? As long as you've signed up for online banking you can use it on 3 different machines in your house too. Anyone who uses Barclays can sign up for free Kaspersky, so if you want to change your antivirus/firewall etc just check online

Have been with kaspersky for over 4 years, it's faultless imo, and less of a resource hog than a lot of other programs.

I go to some dodgy places too, and it's always immediately rumbled any dodgy threat and quarantined it straight away. Never had a proper infection as a result.

Do tell :)

Uuuuuuuuurgh good morning EADD. I'm hungover. I went to a cocktail party. I must never go to one again, it's just an excuse to spike each other with great lakes of stinking mixed spirits. I dimly recall drinking something which tasted like a Snickers bar but was 50% whisky. Then I had to stand outside in the rain with my eyes closed while my girlfriend looked for a taxi.

Fuck it, more codeine down the hatch, load of 30/500s kicking around, Mum tried to complain but I helpfully pointed out that the prescription on the box most definitely does not have either of our names on it and that we would split them ;) It's that kinda day for it, I think.

Wish net here was better, I'm in a right mood to watch some Roger Moore era Bond flicks but noooo. I will just act them out in my head instead.

If you did stand-up comedy I'd come to every gig.

In a non-stalker-ish way.

Excellenty, should maybe look into that then :D

Bored and awaiting takeaway, not a fan of Sundays, though it's more tolerable being here and bored than in a house full of students that have no money and nothing to do.
