That's either ridiculous, or a sign that they have Pep lined up and ready to go. Surely the latter. They couldn't be so stupid as to dump their manager without a better backup option. Could they?

Guardiola would be a massive mistake, David Moyes would be a much better choice. The Chelsea job has become a poisoned chalice, seriously no self-respecting manager would touch that with a ten foot pole

Roman always said though he was never happy with di matteo and he won the CL on a fluke, was just waiting for him to slip up to fuck him off, sad really. CL and FA cup and still not happy, next managers going to have to impress

Chelsea classy as always. Harsh on Di Matteo but hardly surprising, that's the nature of having a super rich cunt owner like Abramovich. He obviously craves Pep Guardiola but he doesn't deserve to get a manager of that class. You could tell all along he didn't like Di Matteo and the shortish contract (he almost didn't get) proved it.


More importantly can anyone confirm whether Eva Carneiro is still at the club?

Not sure how City weren't 4 down after 30 mins but they are fairly resilient at home and did well to draw, with a little help from the ref. Mancini really hasn't got a clue what to do in CL. They were shambolic in the first half and he has to take the blame again. He was awful in Europe with Inter Milan aswell. Surely the Arabs won't be pleased with that effort after blowing another £50m in the summer.

Lost in Donetsk where lets be honest a 5-1 score would have flattered us
Dominated at home by Shakhtar where it took basically the last header of the game to give us an undeserved win

Couldnt get the ball off Juve for the entire 2nd half at home, allowing them to draw 2-2 , pretty lucky we scored against them with a deflected goal as well
Shambles in Turin, if not for Cech we concede 5 or 6 goals in that game and lose 6-0

Worst of all, we conceded 20 goals in Robbies last 10 games, ( would have been at least 27 if not for Cech)

I went to a game at the bridge a couple years ago, the guy next to me spent the entire game on his ipad/tablet whatever it was, adjustinghis fucking fantasy footy team
did not even lift his head to watch the game

I obviously don't like Chelsea but back in the day they had some funny players like that wee Scottish midget Striker what was his name ? about 5"5 and also a bit later another legend was Frank Sinclair . How many OGs did he sore ?

Benitez - far too classy for Chelsea...think he's seeing this appointment as a shop-window to show what he can do for half a season, hopefully leading to landing a position at a club where his dignity and talent will be appreciated. Sacking him after one bad season was the worst decision by the board in LFC's history.

Off to see the mighty reds in Swansea tomorrow...should be a great atmosphere considering the circumstances...hoping for a win but predicting a 2-2 draw,.
