Enough san pedro?

Hey I was just wondering, I have 3 san pedro cactuses one is 9 inches tall by 3 inches wide, and the other two are 5 tall by 2 inches wide, my question is whether or not this is enough cactus to trip or not?

Well as a rule of thumb a 6-8 inch cutting is usually enough to feel it. Then a 12-18 inch cactus is usually enough to trip hard especially 18inches but potency varies.

I weigh 125lbs and always used one 12'' cutting per trip, with the weight being roughly the same. Potency varies between cuttings, so sometimes the trip would be light and sometimes intense.

Are you trolling? What is this supposed to mean? A normal sized SP cactus in the wild is likely to be a 10-foot stand. A normal size house cactus might be anywhere from a few inches tall to several feet.

Just prepare half or one of the cacti and try and drink the shit you get after preparing them. Most people take one sip, gip, and put the glass down thinking "never again".

Compared to drinking san pedro, medieval torture was a breeze.

The medieval torture bit is intentional hyperbole, the part about putting it down and saying "Never again" is not. At least I was able to scull cough syrup with my nose pinched. You can't scull this stuff. You just can't. You're welcome to try, but the best you can do is take a big mouthful, force it down (you can't do it fast enough), attempt to keep it down, and stagger around the room for five minutes gagging and trying to convince yourself to do it again. And repeat ten or twenty times, depending on how much you've boiled it down.

Man I remember walking past somebody's garden in Valencia one day and seeing not one but TWO ten-foot San Pedros in their garden, thick as my arm. Only reason I didn't chop one down on the spot was I had another 800km to cover in the car and if the police had stopped me they might have asked a few questions about a meter of cactus in my trunk lol. Fucking think about it every other day....

It's legal unless it's dried, so you could've smiled pleasantly and said "I'm a gardening enthusiast." What's not legal (or ethical) is stealing someone else's cactus, so I'm glad you didn't. Worth mentioning there are species of cactus that look very similar unless you know exactly what to look for, so it could've easily been a dud.

Theres such wide variance in potency of trichocereus cacti, it could do nothing at all, or floor you for 16+ hours.

A rough way to see if its potent, is to lick freshly cut cactus flesh. If its bitter thats a good sign, if not, you prob have cactus thats not very active.

One of the reasons i don't bother with tea anymore (the main one is digestive/gastrointestinal stress/discomfort from tea/cactus flesh in general).

Extract it to a semi-pure hcl salt and theres no question about how hard your going to trip, but its a different expirence in a way.

I'd take a shot glass of 300mg of mescaline hcl chased with water, over that nasty cactus snot tea any day. Some of the nausea is unavoidable, but if its unbearable/your sensitive theres 5ht-3 antagonists that help a good bit in that department. Ondanserton, beta-pinene in lemon essential oil, and iirc the same phytochemical in lemon essential oil is in ginger and what makes it useful for serotogenic nausea associated with 5ht-3 agonism of the sert receptors in your gastrointestinal tract.

Yeah, 2c-x's, the one mescaline analouge i've tried (allylescaline), nbomes, and hell even lsd, can't compare to mescaline. I won't say its my favorite, but i trip far more often with mescaline than synthetics.

Get yourself some cuttings and root them suckas if you can. Totally worth the effort/wait for many years down the road. Plus its fun and easy growing cacti. Just make sure you've tested the potency of what you root, or you could grow some less than active/weaksauce cactus. Not that thats bad, i'll grow as many tricho's as i can get my hands on irregardless of potency. Its just a hobby i love doing.

I'm at 16 bridgesii's @ various stages of development, and don't plan on stopping there .

I can wait all the time in the world for some mescaline, but the sooner you start ensuring your own supply the better. Peyote is fine and all, but you get a hell of a lot more mescaline in a shorter period of time with decently potent tricho's. And its not a 10+ year wait to make your first harvest starting from seeds/seedlings.

Your right my bad I was probably stoned or something. I order my shit off a certain well known website and have only seen 12 inch cuttings for sale. I thought that was pretty normal.

I never knew how long them shits took to grow, but there's neighborhoods all over Cali with people with patches of that shit, 6 ft high! they're not gonna miss a fucking cutting! lol
And yeah, there's other species, but there's plenty of the real ones growing too....some people started growin em years ago and don't even care if they're psychedelic...A lot of people will let you cut one down!
