Hi YPDH,I spent most of my life working in different factories so now I wouldn't mind a job where I can get outside in the fresh air and where I can see if it's night or day cos in the factory you had no idea what it was like outside.
Don't think days like today would be much fun outside though.
 
Respect to those blokes, that is hardcore work but they get good money as long as they get a good catch.
Do you work?

How they get a court issued warrant each time?

If you get a "knock" & they find nothing it is 100 times more harder to get another one, plus if there is nothing there the cops have to pay for all the damage done.

Yes, but I posted "plus if there is nothing there"

I know people that had got caught with a "tooter" or just some old gear marks on some foil or even just a stera cup with a old filter in & got done for it though it never went to court they had to pay for the damage themself.
 
I remember one old dealer and he used to keep his pile of heroin next to him on a mirror.
One day the old bill started booting in his door and he just tipped the gear all around his living room carpet and him and his wife rubbed it into the carpet as much as they could.
He got away with it cos they didn't find anything but I know he had to find a fair bit of cash to pay off his dealer.
 
He seems to be a bit moody going by his last couple of posts, I just choose to ignore it and let him be angry at something else.

Same here, 1 of my old time guys did the same but the cops cut the carpet out & charged him with it.

1 time when people were working from my flat we got a "knock" & had to throw 14g of gear out the window, the only thing that saved us was the door was protected with pieces of metal & all types of stuff to stop it from breaking. The cops were so pissed off they knew very well what we had done but could not prove anything.

I also knew 1 guy that had a cage like thing at his door along the lines of Lock stock & two smoking barrels, it took the cops over 1 hour to get in to his flat.
 
Have a good day too.... wrap up warm, it's shite even in the Deep South today, just about to go out myself and not looking forward to it despite being heavily layered... it's when the water trickles between the layers that I can't stand.

Still a bit fed up with selected members of this board who took my post the wrong way yesterday, I have never had any dealings with you on here & from what I seen your a ok chap.

Though you may not like this comment we seem to have lived parts of our life that are quite close, I got no issue with you at all. If I came across as being moody please accept my appology.

wait till spring!! dont know whereabouts you live, and whether you'd be into volutary work, but the best work i ever did was voluntary work with btcv. (british trust for conservation volunteers) went out once a week laying hedges and coppicing...cleaning ponds... really nice work.
It's the best work in my opinion. then you could become a tree surgeon or something
