Solidarity through ethnicity nationally is a powerul thing. Especially with a group of people that have been fucked with alot throughout history, and they decide to fight back just as nasty as the others do to them, after "taking a stand for our abused ethnic group", kinda ironic if you think about their recent history as an ethnic group. Seems like they should be more tolerant to other ethnicity's snce they know what its like to be abused.
I think walking into a region your ANCESTORS were expelled forcibly from, and saying its now ours, for our ethnicity, is really stupid. That was generations ago, and retribution/reclaiming of occupied lands, rationalized by divine right is somewhat similar to jihad, right? But then christian missionaries who "civilize forcibly" and instill christian values upon the native pop would fall under that descriptor as well.
Seems pretty fucked up to me. Religious/ethnic wars are stupid.
