Opioids oxy diaz combo

im on oxy 40 mil SR a day and a few nibbles here and there throughout the day.. not hardcore trying to keep tolerance down tbh. Finally getting some Valery tomoz first time in absaloute ages just wondered how steady i should be seen as how last time i binged for months on diaz i wasnt using oxy? cheers x

i didn't follow that too well..sorry.
 
sorry im from uk and talk a bit funny.. im getting some valium tomorow for the first time in a while and wondered if its ok to take with with oxycontin. i only do about 40-60 mil a day oxy. i havent done valium for a while but i used to take it a lot
 
On a harm reduction site like this, the answer would be no.
Opiates and benzos can be dangerous when taken together.
Sorry.
 
If you are using for potentiation purposes, which obviously you would be, don't go over a therapeutic dose with the diazepam. 10mg at most. But agreed for harm reduction sake try to use one or the other, or if the oxy alone isn't helping for pain talk to your doctor.
 
i overdosed on oxy/valium.....

part of me wants to tell you since you have a tolerance, you will be fine, but there is the other side of the story which is that after taking valium, your inhibitions go out the door, and it is extremely hard to control your drug usage.

i have heard of people ODing from their regular dose of an opiate + a low dose of a benzo, and if i had someone tell me not to mix the oxy and valium the night i ODed, my life would be ALOT different right now!!

anyways, people are going to do what they want to do and even if someone told me not to take a benzo that time, i probably would have still anyways!

it seems to me like you have your mind made up, but it isnt too late!
 
mixing an opiate...(and oxy is a pretty strong one at that)
with any other CNS depressant (alcohol, benzos, muscle relaxants..etc.)..
increases chances of od'ing dramatically.
so much so..that no one will recommend adding a benzo into the mix, op.
i've had my moments of doing so..
but i've done some stupid stuff..
and i wouldn't recommend doing any of them.
 
I hope im not the only one who has no idea what the fuck this guy is saying...or im just doing to many drugs.

Op have u taken valium before? Oh yah u said u did, idk valium is extremely sedative for me but if you have a tolerance to both, you should be fine, but don't go over 10-20 mgs, and hide all your drugs after you cuz once the valium kicks in, you might go take them again and that would be very bad! Please be responsible,
 
yeh tell me about it, turns out i didnt get it in the end anyway but ill be getting end of week maybe. Val is usually my drug of choice and as u sed mate it always makes u think "fuck it a bit more wont kill me im invincible blah blah" lol its definately harder to control your future dosages once uve toook some diaz.

I used to take 20-30 mg and go out drinking all night like shots and sometimes half bottle of gin. Not advised, and honestly probly wouldnt have drunk all that if i hadnt took the diaz. i dont even drink now im on oxy, cant see point.. (well the odd pint here and there)

thx for advice tho ill take it on board :) probly stick to one or the other
 
Just wanted to add that when I take a small dose of my codeine mixture* (which is on the low end of the opiate chain) and once it starts to work I then take 10mg Diazepam (which is on the high end of the benzo chain), I still prefer the opiate on its own (oh, and I do feel the diazepam, don't get me wrong) and allways tell myself to stop wasting diazepam.
Yet I still waste (have to avoid running out before each month) the diazepam.

Don't make the mistake of even trying to mix oxy with diazepam, you'll just fuck up both highs in the long run.

Just my 2 cents.
