I never liked the effects of diphenhydramine, so I would go with promethazine or hydroxyzine, possibly doxylamine if you don't have the aforementioned.

It'll increase the drowsiness but oxycodone is fairly stimulating on its own.

Hey tokers :)

So it's now legal for recreational use in WA State and Colorado. Has anyone who wasn't a previous patient (I'm a CA patient, unfortunately there's no interstate compact but if I were to be hassled it wouldn't come to any sort of end - presently in Oregon just across the border) been to the dispensaries up there yet? What are they like?

Presently medicating with an aptly named strain called "God Bud". It's a 75/25 indica/sativa, native to British Columbia, Cannabis Cup winner and I can see why. Wow, does it stink :D You can tell from both the taste and the high that this was bred and grown with care. Good times. :)

At least for Colorado from what I understood there won't be any retail stores open until around summer of 2013. Dispensaries can't dispense both medical and recreational marijuana, they have to do one or the other. I've heard many are in the works and were being planned out before it passed, but it will be awhile until any are finished. I also heard many existing dispensaries are opening second retail locations, which is sort of interesting ( I also heard they had the first shot at permits to open these stores). I wonder how many of them will turn from medical to profit based businesses all together. I'm not sure about Washington.

On another note I feel kinda guilty right now. I got an exam on Monday, one on Tuesday and essay due Tuesday. I haven't studied / worked on my essay at all this weekend :(. I'm pretty drunk right now and just smoked 2 bowls since I got home. At least it's early and I'm back at my apartment before 10 so I hope I'll be in bed pretty soon. My plan was to get a little drunk tonight then come home and study a little bit, but I don't think it would be a good idea at this point. I'm going to smoke another bowl now and finish watching dumb and dumber then I'll think about it lol.

Wednesday I'm off for the week and Thanksgiving on Thursday, yay :). I love getting super stoned and stuffing my face with good food people cook for me. Great holiday. Sad I'm not going to see any of my siblings though. What's everyone else doing for Thanksgiving?

Thanksgiving dinner is at my house! This is the first year in awhile I won't be home with my dad's family. My cousin just moved out west from NY and she's coming to live with me for a little bit. My roommate is having her bf, her bf's kiddo, and her niece from Alaska. My bestie and his 2 sons are also joining. The grownups will be sneaking out to the shed or walking to the park for a nice toke, I expect... my roommate doesn't toke because of her fascist job but she's fine if others do. Our menu? A 14-lb fresh freerange bird, pre-brined and stuffed with lemon, rosemary, and cornbread, roasted slowly and basted in my family's marinade (yep, I'm in charge of the bird this year!!!), all the traditional sides, with brie en croute with apples and crudites as appetizers and pumpkin pie for dessert. I'm surprising the kids with a chocolate-pecan pie cooked in a graham cracker crust with real whipped cream (oh what will I do with the rest of the nangs ;)). I think our headcount is 9, four grownups and 5 kidlets. I don't think we'll be having leftovers.

Wondered about something. One of our guests is roommate's on and off boyfriend. He literally stole 3 of my choicest nugs at our Veterans Day BBQ. He emptied my jar into his own pocket without my permission. It's put my roommate, who doesn't smoke, in an awkward position. :( I said that in the greater interest, I'd forget once he apologized and replaced what he took. He usually comes over every day, but he is too ashamed to face us. This was also the last of my nug at the time that he had stolen. I don't like his attitude toward my roommate - sexist pig wouldn't begin to cover it - so we will let him wallow in his shame for now.

I'm in a little bit of an awkward situation myself with everything going on right now too. My Mom was supposed to have Thanksgiving with her family, but they all changed their plans like a week ago and now no one is coming besides 4-5 people. Even her Dad got out of it, and made plans to go to his step daughters. They didn't invite her so that made me pretty salty, especially because my Mom has Christmas every year and invites them, but they can't return the favor? I think it's a pretty dick move especially because she had this all planned out for like a month.

On the other hand, my Dads family always has an awesome dinner and I vibe a lot better with them. They're a lot more laid back and almost everyone on that side of the family smokes lol. It's my Dads birthday, and we also usually celebrate my Grandma's birthday too because it's a few days later. My Grandma and I are really close, she took care of me until I was 15 and used to come to my house every morning to get me off to school and would be there when I got home. I rarely see her now, and since I moved away for college I usually only see her 4-5 times a year. She texted me today saying she'd hope to see me then, but I explained what happened with my Mom and she seems really cool about it and told me not to worry and do what I felt was right and no feelings would be hurt.

Either way I'm going to feel bad no matter where I go, but I think it's in my best interest to go to my Moms.

On another note, that sucks you got your nugs stolen and are in that situation :(. I know you probably don't want to stir up a bunch of drama, but I'd be soooo pissed it would be hard not to. That's ALWAYS a dick move, and to steal from someone you're around that much and welcomes you into their home? That's fucked up. Sketchy people, I can't stand being around them... Hopefully it all works out and he reimburses you with some fine nuggetry and an apology at the least. Personally if my roommates girlfriend/boyfriend stole anything from me I can almost guarantee that would be the end of their relationship if I didn't have my shit back within 24 hours. If he really cared about your roommate he wouldn't be pulling stuff like that... he should know it's going to cause problems.
 
So the only thing happy about my Thanksgiving is food. Everything else seems scripted and poorly acted.... except for the arguments and occasional fights. Those are pretty genuine, but they're not exactly happy....

Though I did laugh when I convinced my 7 year old nephew to steal a sip from my brother/his father's beer and he immediately spit it out into the back of my brother's head and called me a jerk-faced liar. That was pretty awesome.

What are you wondering about? Whether you should bring up the entire situation? Or whether you make him apologize for ripping you off? I say YES all around. I hate thieves & you oughta make him apologize plus pay you back in weed.

finally started putting my buds in a mason jar. I always used to do that but just got lazy after I broke the last one.
 
I use very large mason jars for the bulk of my weed (I prefer Kilner to the more popular Le Parfai jars) but I've always wanted to use one of those plastic amber medicine containers that they often use in dispensaries in the US like the one shown in the photo below, for carrying small amounts around. I don't know why, I just like them. Unfortunately you can't seem to get them in the UK.

So I've noticed recently that people's advice in CD when confronted with an issue concerning drug use is to combine or replace the problematic drug with other addictive, harmful substance to treat a symptom that they knowingly, willingly cause to their own body. The fuck is all this about?

"Oh, you don't like the munchies when you smoke? Just take some amphetamines."

"You have panic attacks after a bowlpack? Dude, Xanax. Just.... Xanax."

"I find cigarettes are a good substitute for weed when you're trying to stop smoking bud."



Am I just being overly sensitive or is this kind of shit really terrible advice?
 
those pill containers are good for weed and pills obviously but a cop will almost always ask whats in it if he sees it.

and jibuilt how is that bad advice.

Weed makes you hungry, amps cancel that out. Is this not true?

Its not any worse than having a guide on how to IV or smoke crack.

If you get addicted to adderall anyway you were probably going to fall to something anyway
