2012 - 2013 Football Thread

Fucking goals galore in the PL today, my overs in all games +2.5 finally came in, been doing it for about 4 weeks, now for UTD game and theyll get me a nice 470

Sometimes its just made so clear that you have made the wrong decision in life and wish you could of had another team to support.
How embarrassing and its not our first hammering this season.
Brings back memories of losing 9-0 to Man United,good times, good times.
Oh well hopefully things can't get any worse for us now.

Anzhi were a 3rd division team in Russia not so long ago, and now they are leading the Russian top flight.

Any super rich Ipswich fans (as benefactors) would be a great help of course.

Cheers,I don't think any supporter ever really loses all hope as no badly how our teams may be doing at the moment each supporter always has that bit of hope inside themselves that things will get better sometime in the future.
People of Ipswich start drilling in your gardens we got to find an oil field somewhere.
 
Half of the foreign fancy fucks (this term is copyright of The Sun) in the PL wouldn't be where they are today without Arnold Muhren. He was great.
 
Yeah, I think we were responsible for introducing foreign players into our leagues.
I don't know if we were the first team but I know in those days he was one of only a few foreigners playing over here.
I think he went to Man United after he left us.

All my family live in Norwich and are Norwich fans, so I am so glad that I live in a different county from them.

Another excellent game from Norwich v Man Utd (they could easily have won last year, United would have been relieved to have won that one). Well done to them.

I feel sorry for AVB, well part from his paycheck, he doesn't seem like a bad guy but it really looks like the players start hating him wherever he goes, should have never left Porto, if he gets fired from Spurs as well, his career will be in serious trouble.

Did you watch the match? All AVB did today was perfect, from the line-up, which was battering them, to showing fucking big cojones to make the changes he did at half time. Half a starting 11 missing through injury, losing Modric and VDV with no replacement, we are doing all we can to not lose too much ground from the pack. You've got to be stupid if you expected Spurs to be around 4th based on what we've got to work with. There was absolutely no shame in the performance today, Adebayor was a fucking retard, but such is life. Audere est facere, and today we certainly did. If only Defoe had poked Bales cross in to make it 4-3.. they were holding on for dear life with a 2 nil lead with 15 mins to go, the library was silent and they were starting to time waste.

Ummm based on what? Our players have said on numerous occasions how much they enjoy working with him. Everything that has said otherwise has been sourceless tabloid quotes to further their witch hunt against him. If he was British they wouldn't do anything *cough*Martin O'Neill and Brendan Rodgers*cough*.

I'd say great initial selection by AVB, and great response to go to 3-4-2 after the break.

BUT, disappointing lack of resilience and organisation by Spurs after Adebayor went off. They just went to pieces rather than putting up a disciplined backs to the wall performance. So how much do you blame AVB for that?
 
It is same old spurs for the last 20 years, I think it will take more than the 3 months he's been in charge to change this horrible mentality of inferiority and despair we seem to get whenever something goes wrong.
