So if you're from Dundee but don't talk in a Dundonian accent what accent are you talking with?

I dunno, some sort of generic east coast Scottish accent. I base the fact that i don't speak with a Dundee accent on that i work all over Scotland, like literally from the Borders to John o Groats and no one ever guesses where im from and when i tell them Dundee they are surprised.

Having said that when im in the company of oary Dundonians i definitely speak with more of a twang. Ken wit em sayin'?
