Yeah it's a good nightly price but over the months it adds up when you can have an apartment for much less per month and get access to a pool, gym, wifi etc and not have to deal with hotel staff (even though mines were mostly fine). I literally just had a room (with TV and aircon) and a bathroom where as you'll no doubt have some sort of sitting area and stuff? Apartment is definitely better. I looked at places in my first week in BKK and planned to get one but just never got round to it, kept thinking "I'll do it when I get back from Kanchanaburi / Chaing Mai / the islands" and never did. Was too convenient staying in the hotel and go to know all the staff and the people who worked round about in the restaurants, travel agents, suit shops, stalls etc and ended up with loads of local mates, made me not want to move. Next time defo.

5:20am mate? Head out. Swing will just be opening and there will be fucked up people and druggies galore. :D
 
You got a proper kitchen area with cooker etc or just a wee portable stove like most Thais have? Sounds alright mate.

The codeine linctus ive been having has stopped my IBS/(unknown digestive problem) dramatically!
from 3 - 4 (sometimes 5) shits a day, down to 2 and i can hold the last one im not busting to go.

Am I just getting confused are you sometimes listening the price per night then other times listing the actual value of the apartment?

Is it just the currency that's confusing me? lol.

Oh and re: kitchen, na it's just a "kitchen space" but I bought two induction heaters for 750B each, and they work really, really well. I mean I can cook literally anything with them. There's a Tesco Lotus down the road where you can buy all the shit you need when you move in which is dead handy.

Na it's just the currency lol. 8.9k is about 150 quid, that's what I pay a month. 650B is what, like, 13-odd quid?

Never went to Bed or Narz actually. I heard Bed was full of cunts who just wanted to pose and say they'd been to one of the most expensive clubs in Thailand rather than actually have a good time, oh and Lady Gaga went there after her gig when I was in BKK and instantly that made me think that if a zoomer like her and her fans go there then I'll hate it. Narz is fairly hi-so right? I went out in Ekkamai and Thong Lor a few times to places like Sonic, Muse and few other hi-so type places that I forget the names of and the rich Thai folk turning up in their sports cars, flashing the cash and throwing money around on over priced shite whisky that we wouldn't even give to our worst enemies in Scotland did my head in a bit. Plus drinks were stupidly priced, like 450B for a bottle of beer, fuck that. I prefer the studently places where people are less pretentious.

£150 a month for a central apartment on the public transport lines with a gym and swimming pool. Cannae beat that like.
 
Hi -so is high society so aye posh, rich, cunts but particularly ones that are flashy and show off, fancy cars, act like pricks, throw cash about and think they are the best. You often read in the newspapers over there about some local rich cunt or politicians son knocking some cunt over in his car and getting off with it because he's got money. The son of the owner of Red Bull (a thai company) killed someone recently and because of who he is was getting off scot free.

Aye some of the clubs in BKK have crazy prices for beer. Yet you can get a full bottle of rum or whisky for just a little bit more with ice and mixers in most places. Beer from 7/11 costs less than 60p yet that club was charging about £8.50. :\

Prices in Thailand are messed up, in a lot of cases a meal is cheaper than a 7/11 bought beer. Club prices for beer can be more than what you'll pay for a night in a hotel / guest house. Whisky and rum is cheaper than beer in clubs.
 
Fuck that for a game of soldiers. It's the same over here, any of the clubs that cost a fortune to get in and buy drinks are shite cause they're full of cunts who think they're it splashing their money about.

For the most part anyway.

Just tell us about your poo here. I had a bit of a squidgy one half an hour ago, you know the type that no matter how much you wipe, how far you insert your finger, more shite emerges.

Started off well-formed and firm but deteriorated as the tail arrived.
 
It was just a one wipe poo, but after 4 flushes it wouldn't flush, so I had to stab it with the toilet brush, then it got stuck in the toilet brush and I couldn't get it out by flushing again and holding the brush under water, so I threw the brush in the bin. Was an ordeal
