I'm a sporadic meth user. I've smoked it in the past and enjoyed it. But now when I smoke, I literally feel...nothing, which is more disturbing than if I was feeling anxiety or feeling high. It doesn't get me high. But what it does do is as soon as I smoke it, my heart rate increases a lot for about a minute or two and then goes back to slightly-above-normal. I also get the dry mouth, which is a hallmark of amphetamines.
-No, it's not an issue of tolerance. I don't do it nearly enough to have a tolerance (I'll go months without doing it sometimes.)
-I know the issue isn't this particular batch, because I've IV'd it and it was obviously meth.
-I'm definitely smoking enough so that I should be feeling something other than just an increased heart rate.
-I like to keep hydrated, because a friend of mine had a bad experience on meth and got dehydrated. Could my water intake be cleaning the speed out of my body faster than I can get it in?
-Chronic (teehee) marijuana smoker. Not sure how this might play into the equation, but maybe worth mentioning.
I'm quite puzzled trying to figure out what's up with my body that I can't get high by smoking it. Is it possible for meth to go "bad" and lose potency over time? (I stored it very well, but I've had it for at least 2 months now.)
