We can disable PMs? Wasn't aware of that. My bank just called me to offer me a life insurance package, kept me on the phone for 25 minutes, then they found out I wasn't a permanent resident so not eligible for the insurance policy, cunts, that should be the first thing you ask. There I was already dreaming of faking my own death and cashing up on a million dollar. Oh well.
 
how did your skype interview go?
You can switch pm completely off or set it so that you receive pm's from people on your contact list [ settings-general settings]

Pointless, I just talked with HR(human resources not harm reduction), told me it was just an initial interview, said that if I'm shortlisted they'll send me some documents to fill in, probably have to write a paper(policy analysis), and eventually I would need to show up in Brussels for an interview with the Director of that department. I probably won't get the job
 
Expensive journey if you had to do it.
Widely known that anyone that works in HR is a complete wanker, there's one here studying to end up in HR. I told him as soon as he said that 'that's the type of job where no one likes you'.
I know I'll get close to knocking his teeth out if spend any time with him so I avoid contact.

Well I'm applying to jobs in Brussels with the idea that I'm going to be relocating back to Europe soon anyway, if I'm back home going to Brussels is very feasable I've done a bunch of interviews over there already, it's five hours on the train for me to get to Paris, where I have family so I can stay for a few days no problem, only takes an hour and half on the TGV to get to Brussels from there, so I can go in the morning and come back in the afternoon. I would never consider flying from Australia over there just for a single interview. We'll see what happens
 
Doomsday preppers the adage 'get a life you motherfuckers' applies, they take stuff a bit too far. Some preparedness is fine but some of this lot go way ott.

Morning atm23, get your coffees in! I should probably line up a few cups myself to see if I can re-enter concensus reality, the one where I'm not going on an EADD killing spree =D You were not on the list so rest easy, if you behave yourself :)
 
Coffee is served:)..I'd leave the killing spree until at least 10am that's a much more civilised time for a full on psychotic break.
