This is one thing that really pisses me off, Yes its bad these people died but for fuck sake do you not know the risks before you signed up?

Did you forsee an easy pension? or did you not think an insurgant would be thinking of the Nth degree about ways to blow your lower body from your torso?

Wake up and realise what you are getting into. cos everyone who doesnt sign up sure as fuck does

Its lovely! Like being so warm and comfortable you fall asleep and wake up feeling warm and really nice, smoked the hash joint after that post and was out again, just woke up, rolled one of thai and i got 2 packs of Worcester sauce crisps =D Itsa gonna be a noddy evening i reckons, opiates are fucking beautiful!

Exactly, is not as if they were signing up for ballet dancing for life or plumbing in an area with no water. They were signing up for battle and war, they knew they had a very good chance of death and they still signed up, that's either heroism, stupidity, bravery, or just a death wish :\
 
My dad served in the British army for 25 years and a lot of my school friends also went on to join up.
I cant believe anyone would begrudge a fucking pound for these guys who if they haven't been killed they have lost legs, arms, eyes etc.
You may not agree with the war they are fighting and neither do a lot of them.
But if this country was ever threatened then these blokes would be the ones putting their lives on the line for your freedom.
Without our forces we would all be speaking German now.
 
Think im gonna hit the hay.. work in a few hours for a nice 11 hour shift of running around,, peace

This whole " we must rise up" argument is just propoganda ..usually by nations who own nukes
 
maybe german would be better all around :\ how can we know which would be better unless we know all the options and can live them all. I'm not dissing your dad mzalfie I'm just saying that war is a waste and I will never understand it(well I do understand it technically) but i will never understand how leaders believe it will do anything good in the long run, war is only good for short term goals and always will be, it will never solve anything and never will.

Yes Mugz England would be so much better had the Germans taken us over.
Just think, we would have no jews as they would have all been worked and starved to death or gassed if lucky.
We would have no handicapped folk as they would be killed at birth or hidden away until they could be exterminated.
All the ethnic folk would either be killed or deported and everyone would live in fear of what their neighbours may be telling the secret police about them.
I'm sure it would have been great to have the Germans RULE OVER us.

you seem to forget that Hitler was about to be overthrown by his own people during the end of the war and none of that would probably have ended up happening, it could be, and IT IS HAPPENING in another parallel universe right now, that is based on the laws of physics, whatever can happen will happen, we just have to try and be happy with the universe that we are stuck in now and live our lives to the maximum potential that we can, and make the best decisions that we can make. As I said I wasn't dissing your family was just putting across another point of view.
