True. But there's a rational part of my brain that says "Don't take tons of benzos then go out with pockets full of illegal shit because you'll end up in a mess & doing something stupid." It is perfectly possible to think of this before eating a handful of benzos.

Pretty much agree with that, & what you've said about the letters. I wouldn't be a happy boy if I was the intended recipient & the polis came through my door at 5am because some cunt had been wandering about Tesco out his tits trying to sell fucking opium.

I hope he won't, but in this country, it seems to be very much a lucky dip as to what judge you get.. some judges have a thing about druggies and will hit you with both barrels...

Sentencing in this country is fucked anyway - recently, a guy got 6 years for importing garlic (and declaring it as apples for tax purposes), while a guy who violently sexually assaulted a young girl got a suspended sentence (incidentally, he told the judge he 'had taken too many LSD tablets the night before', and that 'it must have been the hormones' that made him do it (same judge as it happens).

Anyway, hope it goes well for bcf, but as someone said already, get the best solicitor you can afford...

How will he not get done for possession of a Class A? Sounds like they will try for intent as well but a good brief may be able to get him off that. I don't think he'll go to prison either, but we don't know the whole story or what other evidence the police may have. It sounds like he's more of a risk to himself than anything else and the law should see this, but then we don't know how naughty he's been.

Are you in Ireland BCF? I don't know their views on stuff like this or the prison situation there. Have you got an appointment to go back in yet?
 
Can you wipe your phone remotely?

how did you explain the envelopes with addresses? Its a clear cut case of intent no?
 
I don't know if it would work in this case, but an app like Lookout Premium allows remote locking and wiping for 'stolen' phones...
