Heroin First time using

dope is really regional in the US. in new england area, you got #4 I think (nice, light brown powder. only used briefly up north and had nothing to compare to, but seemed good. or i just went to a good hood for it lol)
my understanding is that the tar shit (that you'd need an acid to get it needle-ready) is much more prevalent in cali/texas (mexican product). Here where i am in FL, i've seen "boy" offered like twice. it was a powder but couldn't tell you anything re quality, cuz i don't know anyone who'd buy heroin here (FL is HUGE pain pill area - and my county is FL's worst for 4yrs running. nobody buys dope because roxy and hydromorphone are super abundant and, most importantly, they're *labelled* so ppl know what they're getting)
 
they think they know what there getting,more like,lol.all our kit comes from afgangastan,so its just the same gear most the time,does'ne really differ from region to region much at all.no oxy scene here at all,valium's about the only pill thats really common...I WANNA COME TO THE US,haha

guys, this is an old thread!! please dont bump old threads!

but my advice - never try heroin in the first place!!!! wrecks so many people's lives. and it sucks to be dependent on something to make you happy. trust me, i could have saved myself soo much suffering if i hadn't tried heroin the first time, in that period of time, i had never used needles. i only swallowed/snorted pharm opiates. the first time i did some Boy (Heroin), i snorted it. rapidly i started to gain tolerance and use more and more. i made new connections and drug buddies, and they were all shooting up, i was extremely depressed at this point and was fucked up in the head, which lead me to wanting to shoot up heroin for the first time, along with peer pressure. i purchased clean, brand 1cc 30guage insulin needles, and purchased a micron filter via online or u can purchase one from some needle exchange clinics. asked my friend to shoot me up the first time, then i learned and then it was game over.

Not always...I made it through. Did it hard after the tragedy of nine eleven, for a couple years, got deep into the horridness... My house was a petri dish for bacteria and illness. I was banging like 2 g's a day... Then one day it hit me, I was gonna die or I needed help. I called my pops up, he came down and helped throw all but my computer and clean clothes and dj gear, in the trash. My mom drove my car home and I was going to have to quit cold turkey! I was already on my third day of no smack when my folks arrived. My dealer (old lady) taught me a (horrible but effective) trick, where if you smoke crack while withdrawing from heroin it will keep you from being sick. It fucking worked for me, got a half ounce of crack and went to town (of course sharing with all my doper friends who thought it was fucking christmas or something...lol) on it for the first three days. When my folks arrived I was pretty whacked out. I had my weed pipe and a bit of the crack left so, on the 15 hour drive home, when they stopped for gas n shit I would hit it up... Then I had to go through the withdrawals cold turkey for two weeks before they finally put me on meds (klonopin and some ssri crap). I quit that shit about six months later and have been off the H for over a decade. I did have one short 3 month relapse a year or so after I first quit, but it was nothing to get through like the horrid addiction I first had.

So, in conclusion, not all people totally fuck up their lives when they start heroin. Just most...

If I could offer advice, it would be to stick to one good source, (mine was clean and consistant) and only do it until the excitement has dissipated and basically been replaced by need to function. That is when you stop. Get yourself a method of withdrawal (don't use what I did, fucking nuts man), there are plenty of opiate/opioid withdrawal methods on here and elsewhere (like the Thomas Method [which I think is even posted here too]).

What ever you decide, just be smart and know your body, keep good friends around to help you, who are knowledgeable and experienced and don't forget to have fun!!! ;)

they know what they're getting. the only way i've ever even *heard* of someone being ripped off (outside of muggings/etc) is when they didn't verify pill #. You have no idea the epidemic of oxy and dilaudid around here, people are more concerned with that than with knockoffs and whatnot. Even people being sold something that was some random medication (again, their fault for not reading the pill, and buying off a hobo instead of the million 'known'/regular dealers), is a rarity.

i'm actually kind of surprised there wasn't/isn't any real knockoff market (ie, illicitly made/stamped sugar pills), i always just imagined it was because, if someone could move those in the 1st, it'd be more profitable to just move the real shit. Repeat business, and all that.
Oh, and 'what it's like'..it's ugly, VERY fucking ugly - but that's the case w/ dope regardless, it's just that it's more open and on display in such markets (which, IMO, is a better 'deterrent' than any DARE program or LE approach, if we're talking harm reduction. But don't kid yourself, lots of people love that game, whether it's the tues/thurs narc squads, or the 24/7 traps and park dealers)
