First: This is not a "how much does it cost question"

Second: Somewhere I have read on a thread here recently that MDMA prices are 1/4 of what the used to be. I realize price fluctuates depending on region/availability etc. But I was wondering if anybody knew the source of that information i.e. DEA document, study or something else that I can read.
 
sounds like bs to me. if you had said price dropped by a quarter, maybe. prices do fluctuate with supply and demand but by 3/4 of the price, highly unlikely. like anything buying in bulk i would imagine reduces the price quite significantly. so unless your buying thousands or ounces price fluctuation by 3/4 is not happening.

do you have a link to the thread or place you read this?
 
It's probably due to inaccurate information, like many people seeling RCs as MDMA for cheaper. Same can be said for coke. It cost like 100/g in the 60s but that's probably because it was way more pure.
 
laugh, I wish I did. It was from a fairly respected poster from what I remember. It was a shot in the dark, thanks for the idea's though.
 
In fact, prices have actually gone up *slightly* through the Netherlands way. Though you could argue this is because the content of the pill has also gone up more than slightly =D

yeah , if i got a pill thats 200mg i could even use half one night then half another lol
 
Well, let's remember people that there is no price discussion on Bluelight, so keep the numbers to yourselves..

but yeah, the prices have gone waaaayyy down in some markets. Like, 1/3 of what you would pay normally, and it's amazing quality shit.
 
just goes to show the profitability in ecstasy and the illigal drug trade. these people producing must be killing it. would be a nice little business on the side for the rich that can afford the set up costs. it also proves the ridicules mark up and the amount people were getting ripped off before the drop in price. i have never experienced fluctuations in price to that extent for any drug. usually if price gets jacked up too much punters will switch to another poison. if drugs were legalised the amount of money that could be taxed and put back into society and used for rehabilitation and mental health rather than in the pockets of these filthy drug manufacturers is crazy...one must wonder what is the governments hidden agenda? prohibition does not work, it has been tried and tested for many many years now, time for a change, time to move forward.
 
I pay half what I used to pay for pills these days (compared to ages ago) the quality is much worse too, alot of the time its not mdma at all, or a small amount per pill.

I'm not sure of this, as I would much rather pay more and get better quality and less garbage than the pills being cheaper. I didn't think of it as getting ripped off when I paid twice as much as I do now, i preferred paying more for strong pills and them usually being 'hit' and not 'miss'.

True, they are killing it in the sense I never want to buy their shit again. Imports to Aus seemed to have drastically gone down over the years and decades and so has the quality and cost.

All this is debatable of course, it's alot about who you know and stuff, and my contacts have changed alot of the yrs, but this is just my experience in the past 20 odd yrs in having pills here.

i agree. im happy to pay a little more for quality, and lets face it you pretty much have to pay through the nose these days to get the goods. there is always the shit floating around you can pay less and roll the dice for...im too old for that shit now and not prepared to play roulette with what i put into my body. i was just assuming we were talking about MDMA not 'ecstasy'. i think you have probably seen the price increase due to the strong demand. australia now has one of the highest per capita ratios of people consuming md/e semi-regularly. back in the 90's before it blew up and it wasn't necessarily a mainstream drug prices would have stayed low because of the lack of demand...once it blew up and was a house hold name every man and his dog was chasing the stuff meaning demand sky rocketed, hence price increases due to the strong demand. those poor people on the other side of the country pay double on average due to the high demand outstripping the supply...poor buggers.
 
The thing is though, the quality has gone up so high and so many people are making it in huge amounts that prices HAD to drop to almost nothing for people to get customers away from their competition. This is in Europe though... in the US, AU and other areas where MDMA is more rare obviously the prices aren't down, they're most likely up.
 
yeh i agree, it must be damn plentiful again atm if they can afford put 200+mgs in a pill...sort of like flooding the market i guess. good times for the dutch and euro trash, if only the rest of the world would see more of those being imported. the thing is though if those dutch bombs, skulls etc did ever get imported over here chances are they would be crushed and repressed to maximise profit...just legalise the shit ffs!
 
In the US I would have to say that MDMA is still somewhat hard to find (in FL), but really not impossible if you know a few people who are connected to the EDM scene. And yes the prices have come down recently it seems, (I can't believe I got 1g for $80). But buying inside a club or event is MUCH more expensive, as well as dangerous because most of the pills or caps inside clubs in Tampa are Methylone, Amphetamine, Methamphetamine or a combination of those.
 
from 12 years ago....the prices for xtc pills have dropped about 50% from what I have seen from different price discussion here and other places. for MDMA powder/cyrstals it has only droped 20-30%.
 
When I first saw MDMA powder in 2000, it was very new on the scene and £100 a per Gram. This ofc, was pure as possible.

Now, the street is typically £50 per gram for good quality, I just paid £30 a gram for allegedly very good stuff that I will test next week.
 
i personally think the price has gone up in the US, but thats if you can even find it. all the pills are bunk garbage for the most part. if you can get good pills in the US then you are fuckin lucky my friend. it is VERY hard to get good MDMA. in the last 2 years of searching i have got nothing but pipe bombz or methylone. theres a bunch of dumb kids that i know of that get "molly" and "its because its pure and doesnt have all that other bad stuff in it that pills have" lol fuckin idiots are buying pure methylone and think its molly. i dont see how this has tricked so many people. IMHO methylone feels NOTHING like the real deal(MDMA). if you think methylone feels alot like MDMA i dont think you had real MDMA and i would say the "molly" you had was fuckin methylone too! fuckin dumb ass fuckin kids!
 
i was able to get pure crystals that would last me years for a ridiculously good price.
 
so did you get them then? bet they dont last as long as you first anticipated...they never do.
