The effects of a hot shower.

I've also used the shower to hide the fact that I'm high from my parents. If I thought I had the house to myself but my parents ended up stopping by for something, I raced for the shower as soon as I saw them pull in to the driveway.
 
Does heavily hot steam eliminate some of the smell or is that just a myth? I used to always remember thinking that when I was a kid...

Heh I would use showers or baths for the same thing also I figured if I had any scent of smoke on my body or hair washing with soap, shampoo, and water would get rid of it and putting clean clothes on would help too.

It sounds odd but sometimes I would fee physically dirty after smoking and taking a shower would calm me down.

I'm right there with you. I think being high just makes me more aware of the dirt/sweat accumulated through the workday, but radiating with the smell of smoke all day can leave me feeling pretty unfresh.
 
Never noticed it. I just know I take really good showers when I'm high. Professional grade scrubbing.
Feels amazing afterward.
 
I often shower when high and have never noticed a reduced effect. The best thing to do is have a jay rolled up for when you are finished and the room is all steamy and warm. Hotbox that shit!

Mmmm, good idea. I've often considered smoking a bowl while in the shower, how relaxing would that be? Or in the bath.
 
^ It's about as relaxing as smoking anywhere else then lying down for a while...o_O
 
water constantly dropping on you takes your attention away from the high and more towards the shower, in short showers affect your senses affecting your high

i know you are saying you avoid it cuz you dont want it to sober you up

but all i can think about is someone who has been so consumed by weed that showers have become unnecessary, think stinky smelly hippie :)
 
I enjoy showers when I am stoned, but I will agree in the last few weeks I have noticed the same thing, I have a shower and come out sorta straight. But I am going to go on by staying it would be the strains, I have been getting some stronger then others.
But stoned showers are pretty Awesome :D

My ex was like the weed police so I would use the shower when I wanted to smoke a bit. Put a towel under the door, turn on the shower and spray perfume or body spray. Then blaze and get in the shower to get the odor off me. Get out feeling all paranoid. Sometime it worked bt other times, he would come in and say "it smells like weed in here" I'm glad I left that prick.

Yeah, I refuse to date anybody who has an issue with my smoking because I'm not willing to quit on somebody else's terms. Simple as that. Good job for leaving him!
