Bearlove, is that real fur or fake? and where d'you live, Canada?

Its displayed on some sites as Faux fur - but I suspect its actually rabbit fur (most common for that style of 'trapper / Ushanka' hat). Not sure where I got it from now - sort of had it for ages.
