Concerned friend, if you are effie, and I'm pretty sure you are you are way off, sectioning, crisis teams and all that malarky are not needed, not at all. We hardly even talk anymore, we used to talk online almost daily until about 6 months ago maybe, I know you know me and you know the area that you are talking about(crisis teams, sectioning) very well too, but you don't know this situation nearly well enough to be making claims like that.
 
Very doubtful Mugz, Effie has been on leave for a bit and unloess she's done this without anyone elses knowledge then it's not her. I can assurre you BL staff do not know who that was.
 
It's obviously an alt, noone would know me on here well enough and know about angelsmoke with just 3 posts ever, can't you do an IP check and find out who it was. A Real concerned friend wouldn't be so concerned about stating who they are.
 
Whoever made that post. i think they should have identified themselves to Mugz . By PM . If they didn't want it public .

I know that if it was directed at me & the person did not reveal themselves it would be doing my head right in .
 
Agreed and if I could help I would but despite best efforts I have no more idea than anyone else.

I'd try not to dwell on it Mugz, you have plenty of know people to give you a bit of support.

The IP check has been done with no success. The 'Concerned Friend' would appear to be using TOR and there are no obvious links to any other Bluelighters.

Whatever your feelings about this person hiding their identity, the fact is that they posted a sincere, caring and considerate response to your original post.

I'd think yourself lucky somebody would take the time to do that, rather than get all wound up over who it might be.

Sectioning may/may not help, but going in as a voluntary patient? (so long as its an unsecured hospital.) So you still have your freedom, but you'l have a place to go back to with 3 square (really nice) meals a day, support if you need it any time but not forced on you & you can leave at any time. pm me if you want more info & this sounds like a plausible idea
 
I've been informed by someone that is it someone that has a 2 year ban from bluelight so I think I know who it is now.

The post was thought out and sincere and caring, but it was just wrong, sectioning or being forced into a mental ward is not the answer right now

Rubbish, TOR doesn't work on bluelight.

The advise given clearly came from the right place, it's just I feel Mugz would be better moving home for a while. Can you not just phone your dad mate? Come clean, I've had to do that and cut my losses many times. I do feel your pain in doing it, but it would be for the best.

It didn't work for me a while back. And I know how to work TOR, and PGP.. Go and sign up an account and see.

Forget who concerned friend is anyway, hardly even matters, what they said is what matters.
 
MY dad will take me back, he would just rather I carry on trying to make a go of it up here, I've told him I'm coming back though and he said he will support any decision I make. I've been offered a lift home, just need to sort through my stuff so I don't have too much to take.
 
You don't need an account to use TOR, I think the BL staff team have more than a lirtle more tech knowledge than you do, now drop the nonesence that you know nothing about and stop derailing this thread.

Hope you've sorted your head out a little, Mugz. I think Portsmouth is a good idea. I moved in with my mum, when I couldn't afford my house, and I was a bit of a mess. It was the best thing I did - started drinking just at weekends, drug use dropped loads and I actually realised being sober and rational was actually alright. I hope everything works out, mate. I'm on Facebook, if you fancy a chat.

do what thou willst. but why you would let what a bunch of anons on an internet board say influence you one iota is beyond me. should rename this place easteadd'ers
