Dxm+Mdma=death

I know that the combination of the two are fatal but, I dosed on 200mgs of Dxm Thursday Night and it is now Saturday night... can I roll face or nah? Pppl lemme know! I have to leave in 20mins and I've been searching erowid like crazy and no straight foward answer!
 
Id say wait a month in between.

Ive suffered double vision and utter brain fog for a good 6 days solid from doing DXM and mdma close together, its partly why i stuck around here.
 
just reading DXM and MDMA in same sentence reminds of how bad it sucked. I know i took quite a bit of dxm, 800mg but im not sure really better off playing it safe no ?
 
I would definitely advice against.
Serotonin Syndrome risk is low but not ruled out due to the high dosage - and the experience of SS is so terrifying that you would spend the rest of your life wishing you had simply WAITED to roll.

Taking 4 diphenhydramine tabs 48 hours after I rolled two weekends in a row caused severe SS for me.
Two years later I still wish somebody had told me that MDMA is special and deserves ample spacing with regards to ALL other drugs.

Aside from the risk of severe neurotoxicity and death....
There is the fact that DXM is a serotonin releaser, meaning you are likely to NOT roll at all (or weak).
You are going to waste a pill.

You just can't go using DXM and then rolling the same week.
Two weeks spacing is better.

And DXM is a pretty dumb way to get high - with high doses mimicking the effects of PCP, including the temporary schizophrenia/ego death.
Better dissociatives exist for God's sake, without all the nasty 5HT and NA effects (for Christ's sake)....

High dose DPH inhibits the reuptake of serotonin.
I have strongly advised many people to avoid high doses of DPH for sleeping purposes post roll.
I have researched SS quite thoroughly and I am certain this happened to me.

And DXM is a SERT inhibitor.
 
DXM is flying around here under the name 'Rhino Ket.'

I did the combination not knowing that it wasn't in fact Ket, but DXM.



....horrible.
 
Is that what that 'rhino ket' is?
Are you from UK Cage?

This is a serious issue that needs resolving, people will die from combining this 'rhino ket' with mdma ....

I'm from Ireland. Our drug scene is basically identical.

Haven't tested it, but many of my friends who are big into their K have told me that Rhino Ket isn't a form of Ketamine, but DXM. I've also heard MXE is sold as Rhino Ket too.

I can see the DXM & MDxx combo causing a lot of damage in the upcoming months if Rhino Ket starts spreading, which I guess it will as it's cheap and legal.

I assume the law in the North is the same as this:

Re the south does it have a different drug law?

I was looking in this document for Dextromethorphan but I couldnt see it? However I also couldnt see a direct reference to MDMA. Not to say either is legal.

This law is kinda oldskool in todays drug climate.

Just out of interest how do you know DXM is legal? Do you mean Southern Ireland or Northern?

Does anyone know the legal status of DXM in the USA?

I'm from Dublin, in the South.

DXM is legal in the US. It's used in cough syrups as at low doses it acts as an effective cough suppressant.
DXM is legal here too, but it's a little sketchy buying large amounts of cough syrup containing DXM.

MDMA isn't legal here. I'm pretty sure it'll illegal everywhere, with exceptions for medical use in certain countries.

So I assume the misuse of drugs act doesnt apply to Southern Ireland? Whats the law paper there? Is there a list anywhere that lists all the illegal compounds?

Yes interesting idea this.

Sure DXM is legal in cough medicine as is Pseudoephederine in Sudafed, as is l-methamphetamine in vicks inhaler however, as soon as you start to perform some kind of extraction procedure then the legality of a particular compound can change.

I would be very surprised if DXM is legal in pure powder, liquid or tablet form but I might be wrong hence why I was looking at the actual laws. I would be really interested to know what paper lists all the drugs for Southern Ireland.

I wonder if DXM is a schedule 1 in the USA? Maybe a schedule II. Maybe its legal I dont know for sure.
 
In CA and WA dxm is legal over the counter. You can buy bottles or gel caps.

They sometimes add a mucus control medicine that induces vomiting in high doses to discourage recreational dxm use.

Meth precursors are more restricted, you have to show ID and they are sold behind the counter...

It'd be legal to obtain though, which would make it very easy to get.
I could really see an influx of DXM being sold as 'Rhino Ket', which could potentially create a lot of damage considering the amount of uninformed users.
