Science Opera is how it was described to me. Or maybe Space Opera. Yes, Space Opera.

Kill Bill Vol 1 on BBC HD (and 2 I suppose?)

Fucking great film. Half an hour in though.

The Thick of It was great, not a-laugh-a-minute but it didn't need to be. Just lots of accurate cringey portrayals of lying politicunts.

How can such a good stand up comedian, one of Scotlands funniest, create such a dreadful (yet popular, scary!) TV show.....Gary the Tank Commander. Absolutely shite and not funny yet Greg Hughs stand up routine as himself and as Gary the Tank Commander is fucking hilarious.

You've disappointed me, I booked you for my uni comedy night, I booked you at The Stand for the charity comedy night and I told you that you were the funniest comedian in Britain at Snatch Social and you've made this shitty show that isn't funny. :\

EDIT:
Has anyone watched this 3 part series "How the Brits Rocked America" about Brit Rock bands who tried to make it in the states? I don't think I saw the first part but caught a repeat of last weeks and watching the final part now and it's pretty good, shows how lots of big British bands who came to America thinking they'd be rock Gods, hired out stadiums and so on ended up flopping big time and yet obscure bands who never caught on in Britain ended up being a major success in the USA. It goes through the 60s, 70s and 80s and covers all the big bands. They are talking now about how MTV when it was launched in the States in 1981 cost $21 MILLION to launch on day one yet was a major financial loss because no one made videos at that time apart from a few British bands and they'd only get 5 new videos a week to show at most.

every time malcom tucker opens his mouth he comes out with some clever ranty funny shit, amazing

I think the level of gore is about the same. It's always been gory. First or second episode had 'bicycle girl' shuddering across the grass with all intestinez and shizzle hanging out the back of her. It's a gory thing, not a jackanory thing.

^ yeah I think that was in Season 1 - I got half way through season 2 and gave up. It could be a zombie, lets just cuddle it / kiss it anyway.

I really enjoy 'Bob's Burgers' really funny !

Bobs Burgers is a Brazilian burger chain, more popular than McDonalds and twice as shit.

Only thing I've watched today was Michael Palin in Brazil, was alright. I had always thought he was gay but apparently he's married.

Knock I caught about 1 minutes of Thick of It earlier and it seemed quite funny, I've never heard or seen it before. The scene where 2 guys in an office were having a go at some fat bitch who'd done something wrong and she says it was something to do with double stamping, the guy replies "I wan't do so some double stamping on your fucking neck right now" or words to that effect then follows up with "I can't figure out why you've not been murdered yet". Had me in stitches. :D

there's a movie to accompany the series if you haven't already seen it ... available to 'purchase' at most torrent sites

In The Loop

it's side splittingly funny as far as the banter goes ... always has me howling.

The series is legendary, and that was the last episode of it tonight
