LOL, I love the versitility of the V neck, esp in proper colours like Rust Brown
None of that white T shirt crap underneath like Miami Vice

Wear a nice Shirt underneath it (make sure no buttons on the collar or anything naff like Ambercrummy and Bitch )

Rust Brown Merino V neck..Well knitted with a small collared White or ( prefer) Dark Blue shirt
Pair of decent Farah's ( if going for Ken Barlow look) OR ( pair of these trousers if wearing with some decent shoes) ..

Buzz Rickson's absolutely rocks. It's a Japanese company making fetishistically accurate reproductions of mainly US WW2-era military gear using 100% authentic materials and the original machinery, which they bought up when it was decommissioned in the 80s. I first came across it in William Gibson's 'Pattern Recognition' and assumed that it was invented by him but it's real, and they've actually collaborated with Gibson since to make that jacket, which is a much slimmer cut than the standard MA1. It's gorgeous, you're wrong.

I would wear em everyday of the week esp with a Rust Merino V neck.
The colour of the trousers should "Cut" the colour of the V neck or top

Hence if your being Bold enough to go Rust/Brown top/Vneck and wearing grey/black trousers the Shoes MUST be Brown to make sure the contrast is there again if a client looks you up and down.
