What are you drinking? - "Someone is bringing you ice?"

Cod don't eat plankton...they eat smaller fish and molluscs which may have fed on phtytoplankton, zooplankton.

I realise I'm now being a tedious pedant. I just can't imagine a cod who is happy and well equipped to eat a live 1lb mackerel i dangle in front of would be arsed seeking and filtering planktons.

David Wolfe charges like $500 for his online courses and shit, but thanks to wonderful places like www.theplace.bz you dont have to pay that much :)

lol, I can live without David Wolfe's wisdom. (geddit ?!?!?) Furious George has the right idea. :D

When it comes to "8 Units" only getting one slightly and very barely tipsy, is that bad?
Someone else with aggressive alcoholism please say no...

What's a unit again? Wait a sec...

Eight units? So less than two cans of super strength; near enough four tins of Guinness. At one time that'd be called 'winter breakfast' over here. Classy, no? Well of course not - not in the slightest.

In all seriousness that's more or less normal to slightly-above-normal tolerance by most people's standards, though I wouldn't say it's advisable for anybody to consume that much (or more) on a daily basis. But if you're getting pancreatitis it shows you're not cut out for heavy drinking.

Not that being 'cut out for drinking' is something to aspire to (unless you aspire to death and pariah status, maybe), but there are reasons why such conditions are pretty rare among chronic alcoholics.

I'd listen to your body, because you only get one, and yours seems to be telling you drink ain't your bag. Stay safe.

Red Stripe! It's lovely having money, though now I have no money because of Red Stripe.

Oh well!

Cash for golden larger is all the rage these days Snolly hehe.

Got some neat Gin myself, as I'm feeling rather fuckin shite :|

Ive been doing a little reading after a few strange things after having a weekend drinking session, or sometimes just one day/night session, the next day Id get bad tremors in my chest and or what it felt like around my heart. I always put it down to coke etc from the night before but I found it happened even if I didnt have any. Basically id get all tingles down my arms and have to breath really deeply and being all shaky. For about 8-12 hours or so after it would get from extreme to low but it felt sometimes that my head was on the verge of exploding..

It got worse at work when I was serving customers etc, basically it felt like my head was shaking within itself so much that I was about to collapse, I also couldnt string togethor a sentence I could basically say 1 or 2 words and got so confused just gave up, had to run out of work once as it felt everything was going at like 10x speed. Numerous times after benders ive been in peoples toilets just with my head under the sink. I also felt if I ran around or shaked my body it helped but as soon as it stopped it helped...

Basically went to the doctors like 3-4 times.. they put it down to some wierd thing athletes get after drinking? wtf to anxiety and was basically told just not too drink and it would stop.. well of course..

Anyway decided to self medicate.. I found about 30mg diaz completley knocks it on the head,a wonder really as I couldnt even go into work after drinking, or after benders etc id send the next 8 hours pretending to everyone i was alright well in my head thinking about calling an ambulance every 5 minutes it got that bad.

Anyway im not a frequent drinker, just 2-3 times a week sometimes I think its just the volume, litre of glens usually before the pub then 6-10 pints or so there after. It just annoying I think its going to be like that forever after drinking, although its only past 2-3 years its been this bad

Mate that's some serious drinking, a litre of vodka BEFORE the pub and then 6-10 pints in it, that's loads. I'm pissed after 6 pints. Sounds a lot like anxiety to me, my hangovers are brutal these days, the anxiety is through the roof and sometimes I don't even feel human, it can feel like I'm tripping and get all sorts of weird feelings and head space from them. I never used to think that drinking could cause anything like that but it definitely does for me. Just lay off the booze and cut down on the amount you drink plus have diaz around for the next day. Works for me.

Sounds like delirium tremens to me man.
After a lot of booze on a night, I'll wake up and most of me will be shaking. Hands are the worst - Not very pleasant to greet someone with a handshake or to hand money to someone (likely for some fuckin booze in my case).
That'll be why the Diazepam took care of it.
It'd likely be wise to stop the booze (ha.. coming from me) and get on a course of Benzos with planning to taper.

DT's would usually arise about 3 or 4 days after the last drink, not usually 24 hours , Just sounds like you need to chill on a booze a bit, litre of glens before going out is probably about 40 units, which is what you should really be drinking over the course of an entire week to be on the safe side.
If your banging 40 units at a time before the pub, make sure your taking about 200-300 Mg of Thiamine a day

I think the recommended weekly limit is only 21 units, he's drinking more than double that in one session.

I've been liking my beer a bit too much lately. A 4 pack a day the last couple months most of the time sometimes just 2 or 3 and sometimes 10 or 12 at weekends. Ridiculous how much I spend really as I buy a 4 pack at a time as all the crate offers are shit piss weak beers like carling or carlsberg. I get the occasional jitters when sober like twitchy things hope it won't turn into a fit that must be some horrible shit. My meph days contributed to the twitchiness though. I sometimes feel a panic attack coming on after a heavy sesh so just go and smoke or do something instead of staring into space or I just have another beer lol.
The most annoying thing after drinking is the bloated tummy and itchiness. I wake up middle of night all itchy pisses me off either my liver saying something or an allergy to something in the beer or dehydration. Oh well long as I stay off the spirits that's when things turn really ugly.

Just on my 2nd can of this:

A lot of people don't like it but I think it's nicer than most lagers when really cold. Lower calorie too.

Drinking beer is the only way I put on weight, I can stuff my face non stop with junk and takeaways and not put a pound on. Drink beer every day for a few months and pile a stone on easily.

Yeah it's rather calorific. If you drink ten that's like 1000 calories or so. I've noticed getting fatter since smoking less weed and drinking more beer even though I stuff my face on weed. Plus I heard your liver concentrates on processing the alcohol and sugar before food.

I really fancy a beer or some wine tonight but I think I'll hold off until the weekend if I can. It worries me how difficult I find it to go just one week without booze, doubt I've went longer than 5/6 days in about 10 years.
