i feel u bro -i have a similar disorder to the one you talk about and benzos are just what i feel i need-but where im from doctors will seldom give z drugs(zopiclone) let alone benzos-i would also feel a bit uncomfortable going to my doc and asking for what are effectively class c controlled drugs. i've taken diazepam(valium)-didn't really do much for me-then i tried temazepam 20mg tabs which are supposed to be a "hypnotic" sleeping aid -i've never had trouble sleeping in my entire life-i would take to for breakfast 40mg and my entire outlook on life would become more positive and productive-when i read posts on sites like these-people just using benzos to get out of their heads/combining them with alcohol or whatever-well it justs not right-and the only benzos i can get now?piss poor 2mg vals-i'd need to take at least 20mg- Lastly dose anyone have any info on etizolam and pyrazolam -are they any good ,how do they compare to other benzos?

it wasnt easy i had to try a shitload of anti-D's and Z drugs witch all had bad effects on me after 4-5 years or so trying a whoooooooole bunch of dif medications and seeing a heap of pychs hypnotic therapists counclers and alot of dif doctors. the pych and doctor im with now seem to think benzos work the best for me with the least negative effects.
you should try to get on 30mg oxezapam that's a wonder drug for my anxiety very long lasting and helps me through most the day and when i run out of triazolam ox helps me get to sleep and keeps me asleep.im just dreading the day when i have to come off them as they are more like a band aid for my disorder not a cure hopefully in time i'll be able to learn to live with my anxiety and fix my sleeping problem but for the time being benzos have saved my life i am alooooot better than i was 4-5 years back those were hellish times i never thought i'd be able to get myself out of the rutt i was in

Yea I also recently quit daily ganja & daily xanax had some of the most hellish nightmares of my life I would wake up screaming go back to sleep & same dream would keep going aggh was horrible. Does anyone know why daily ganja seems to stop most ppl dreaming ?

its weird i had one and felt euphoric/light everythhing was kind of loss of gravity.......but i had more and it didnt increase the effects or maintain them . i think i had up to 10mg of clonaz and wasnt groggy or nethn.

lol be careful with high dose clonazapam i was on 14mg and triped over went head first into the cornor of a brick wall knocked myself out landed on my wrist and fractured it! not to mention the cuts all over my forehead.taking more clonaz would just increase the duration not the effect WELL when u get to 10mg plus your alot higher than you realize

Just a reminder to everyone not to mix benzos with heroin. It is a totally unpredictable exercise and I nearly lost a friend the other week. I too have overdosed when combining opiates and benzodiazepines countless numbers of times. Once, relatively recently I overdosed off a standard street deal (.1g) and 2mg alprazolam, which is nothing compared to what I usually dose of either compound. Other times I have had 12mg+ of alprazolam in my system and injected .25g of good heroin and had no problem. Just be careful guys.

i find it to be long lasting.maybe its just me but if i take a oxezapam at 10am n go out i will be feeling fine and not anxious until at least 4-5pm

baught some weed for the first time in agessssss and benzos are ALOT more enjoyable when your stoned :D

I am prescribed oxazepam. 30mg at night for sleep alongside, 5mg diazepam twice daily and 2.25mg alprazolam daily. When I had a considerable benzo tolerance, for a long time I found it to be next to useless. I could take 300mg+ and not feel much of anything. Nowadays, I no longer have a habit on the pills and am starting to notice oxazepam's effects more and more. Though, I still consider it a piss weak benzo.

I believe it is metabolite of diazepam and this has something to with the reason it takes so long to kick in - even when administered sublingually. It also has the slowest onset of all the benzodiazepines I believe. It does seem to last a long time due to it's 14 hour half life, at least for mild anxiety, and feels like a rather weak version of Valium to me. Which makes sense due to it's relationship to diazepam. Personally, I would take 10-15mg of diazepam over 60mg oxazepam any day of the week. I find it useless for sleep, for me anyway, but most things are. This is what it is usually prescribed for in this country at least, in my experience, talking with people with prescriptions.

It really doesn't have much potential for abuse, IMO.

JS, I don't consider 6-7 hours of anxiety relief to be a particularly long lasting benzo effect, but I am more used to longer lasting benzo's than shorter acting ones admittedly. I probably use more than what is generally considered a therapeutic dose of long lasting benzo's for anxiety but if all I got was 6 hours of relief I would be pretty shitted off. I am certain you are experienced with benzo's that have a longer half-life than oxazepam (eg. clonazepam or diazepam) and am genuinely curious if you feel that when taking an equivalent dose of said benzo's you get a shorter term of anxiety relief than you do from oxazepam?

As I have stated before, I have never used oxazepam. However, from everything that I have read and been told from benzo experienced friends that have used it, I am not really missing out on much compared to other benzo's that I have not experienced yet. I am not saying I wouldn't like to try it at some point, but I really don't expect it to be particularly spectacular and certainly not long lasting. That said, I have personally found sometimes that the more subtle benzo's can be some of the best for general day to day anxiety relief, bromazepam being a prime example.

I don't believe oxazepam to be a particularly good benzo for sleep or recreation (in fact I don't find it is good at all for recreation). But for anxiety I find it to be far superior to valium, xanax or temazepam.

if find it a godsend to feel no (or not much) anxiety for 6 or so hours.When i take clonazapam witch im pretty sure is a long lasting benzo? i feel relief for about 2 hours max then all i do is eat everything in my fridge i used to binge on valium so i guess i have become tolerant to its effects it takes me about 20-40mg of valium to feel at ease and that only lasts about 4 hours tops.
maybe this is just the right benzo for me?idono if its possible but maybe cretin benzos work a cretin way with cretin people.so i strongly feel that ox is the right benzo to handle my anxiety.maybe its that i feel so at ease when the ox first kicks in that once the effects wear off i feel a placebo effect causing me to feel less anxious for longer

Yeah kpin is very subtle, until you've had too much, im sure JS can agree there, I find Val's more "recreational" and more sedative, but I would steer clear of the xanax bro.

10mg? that's a ridiculously high dose as it is. you've obviously got quite a tolerance, yet not enough to fuck your wrist up. be careful, ffs!

to any new people out there don't go exceeding 0.5-1mg when initially dosing clonazepam - therapeutic doses. work your way up slowly from there.

10mg will leave a first timer with a great deal of amnesia and likely just have them fall asleep. under no circumstances should any other CNS depressants such as alcohol or opioids be thrown into the mix.

HR is going out the window in this thread again. get a grip guys, benzo abuse is nothing to be proud of. especially when you find yourself hooked and having to abruptly stop. don't let it get to that stage.

Be careful with the kpins bro, for me they have the worst kind of withdraw in terms of body twitches/feeling like your about to have a seizure and I suspect that is because they are prescribed mainly for epilepsy. I have no experience with xanax though.
