MDPV Comedown Guide / Harm Reduction

MDPV Help - Comedown Guide / Harm Reduction

Mods/admins, please move this thread if necessary.

I wanted to make a thread in which I could share my own experience with MDPV and give some tips for an experience that will be enjoyable, safe, and avoid some of the nasty aspects of this substance. This would also be a good space for others to comment on my ideas and share their own. Here goes:

I would advise not redosing at all. The best way to experience this drug without a major crash or comedown is to just do one or two small lines or finger dabs (10 mg MAX) and put it away. Enjoy the effects for 4-6 hours and you'll feel a little tired but you'll be fine after that.

However, I will not deny that there is significant pleasure and fun in redosing every 30-45 minutes for a few hours. Drink plenty of water during this time! I cannot stress this enough. I would advise stopping after the third hour. Let that last hit ride and as soon as you start feeling that sputtering comedown, follow these steps:

1. Eat if you can. Preferably something healthy with vegetables that's not greasy or something with whole grains. If you can't eat, just make a quick protein shake with milk instead of water. If you can't do either of those, skip to step 2.

2. Take the following supplements:
-1000 mg L-Tyrosine (to replenish dopamine)
-1200 mg omega 3-6-9 (for your poor thumping heart)
-200 mg 5-htp (to help your mood and sleep quality)
-Complex B vitamins (to help energy production)
-A multivitamin (to give you what your body has been using up in its overdriven state)
-Magnesium

3. You will need to take some kind of sleep aid now. After a short binge (compared to some 48-hour binges that seem pretty standard) of 3 hours, I wanted not just a sleep aid but an antipsychotic, and I've never taken one before. But the idea of having the dopamine in my brain shut the fuck down sounded really nice. I've read somewhere that seroquel is helpful here. Not having that available, I took .5 mg of etizolam but I would suggest 1 mg or more depending how stimulated you are still.
Sleep is the most important part of the recovery process. I also took 37.5 mg of tianeptine (aka 3x Stablon tablets) to help with some of the oncoming depression.

4. Continue drinking lots of water. If you wake up or can't sleep, drink water. Lay down even if you know you aren't going to sleep, just let your body rest even if your mind is still going. Alot of it is in your mind. Those nightmare visions you're having? See if you can turn the woman eating a man's eyeballs or the zombie hordes dancing in fields into little kids pushing shopping carts. Don't know why, but MDPV can cause some weird shit to happen in your head when you come down. It was really violent and negative for me. But it only really lasted for an hour, maybe an hour and a half.

I hope these thoughts help people thinking of trying or people using MDPV. It's a drug that can be fun and can be helpful but it's also a drug that's really easy to overdo. Please be careful with it and take care of yourselves if you decide to experiment with it. It seems to be much more powerful than amphetamines and is definitely more powerful than cocaine.

My personal opinion on this drug is that it's not worth the time or the comedown to do with any kind of regularity. The comedown really is hell if you don't prepare properly and even with all the supplements it's still rough.

I at one time was IVing 5-10mg dosages about every 20 minutes for days. I actually ended up losing about 30 lbs and semi permanently realigning my jaw into a horrible position. I don't use it anymore, but when I did we would make cayenne capsules and swallow them before using for the vasodilation, we would also smoke pot beforehand for vasodilation and keep benzos within close range. Carbohydrates and water are your friend!!!!!
 
Hmm, good to hear what worked for you! Would you say it's accurate to say that the more you use or the longer you're high on MDPV, the worse and longer the comedown is?
 
Well its very complicated. At first, I was getting this white fluffy type of MDPV, and that seemed to never lose its efficacy, and the comedown really never was that bad but it was definitely MDPV and extremely potent shit. The second type i started getting was more gritty and tan colored. This type always seemed to give me more stimulation than euphoria. And the way the tan type worked for me was, the first couple dosages would get me high, but anything after that would just be extending a really long and overly stimulated comedown, all the way until i would take a bump, hit, or shot or it, and it would only last like 2 seconds before my heart started raging.

With the white fluffy kind, though, it was much different. And since i was getting it online, i really dont know what the hell i was getting. All i know is that i used multiple sources and always got one of two distinct varietys. It always smelled kind of like semen.

But for the new type of MDPV (if that's possible) then yeah it only works for a couple doses, then after that you're just dosing a comedown.
 
Yeah, it's a bummer there was no way of knowing what the fluffy was in comparison to the stuff you got later on. Maybe once you build a tolerance it just creates that "dosing a comedown" situation? I noticed that the first few times I gave it a go, I was feeling fine when it faded but once I did a short binge I experienced that comedown shitty feeling.
 
I never noticed an mdpv comedown until I started binging and smoking it. Then it got quite pronounced and drove me to constantly redose. The rush was so good and the comedown so bad it became inevitable that I wouldn't stop until the bag was empty.

I have never had benzos for the comedown but I'd have to guess that's about the only way I could terminate the trip and sleep. In fact, the only time I ever stopped an mdpv binge is because I accidentally fell asleep between hits, lol.

Of course the next morning I was right back at it.

Mdpv is illegal in my neck of the woods so it's apvp these days if I want to succumb to my hedonistic tendencies. It's an all around less impressive substance but the comedown is manageable. On apvp I felt like, if i wanted to, I could have just stopped and went to sleep. Didn't happen but with mdpv i probably wouldn't even consider stopping till that gram is gone.
 
I actually didn't use seroquil or a benzo :o haha but yea I used Kratom, high dose bali (so it was somewhat sedating) and also smoked a bowl of dank and hash, took a shower, ate protein and a banana, took all those supplements. Etc. Only issue tbh is the insomnia. I still couldn't sleep for about 4 hrs after I felt like I had come down. Yea I smoked mdpv for the first time, the comedown wasn't that bad but I stayed at like ~100mg smoked over 8hrs.
 
For those without stronger CNS depressants around to help ease the comedown/make sleep easier - alcohol works absolute wonders. Without alcohol, MDPV for me is 1 hour feeling amazing, 1 hour feeling great, and then 8-10 hours feeling crappy not knowing what to do with myself. With alcohol though the entire 10-12 hours I feel good, with the first 2-3 being a wonderful peak and the rest being a gradual happy drift down to baseline. It really makes a difference.

That said it's dangerous territory though. With how addictive and fiendish MDPV is, adding another extremely addictive and dangerous drug is just asking for trouble if you make a habit of it.

If you do combine the two, ensure you drink more water than usual to counteract the diuretic effects.

I find talking and masturbation certainly help ease the comedown too - or any activity you can get absorbed in for a while. If you end up stuck unsure what to do you'll get caught in a bad thought loop and this can really send your comedown downhill.

Aye to reiterate what JG said, if there are no benzos to hand (there never are for me), having a beer or two really helps take the edge off the post-pv state. Puts your mind at ease a little, and I'd imagine it'll help if you need to sleep. You don't need to get drunk.
 
^ Yeah, for that reason beer is the better choice. It's nice to have something to drink throughout the entire comedown, rather than drinking it quickly, getting wasted and then having nothing left for the next few hours.

I've heard valerian can help too if you don't have any alcohol, but if valerian's all you have to hand I'd really keep my doses low since it's a rather weak GABAergic and isn't going to help all that much.

Really one thing I should have said in my last post. If you haven't got your shit prepared for the comedown, and aren't ready to handle it if you mess things up (it's easy to get too distracted to keep drinking, miss the window of opportunity to kill your comedown, and be left feeling crappy for hours, too tired to drink enough to rectify it) - then MDPV isn't for you really.

I personally think that's a lot of supplements to go along with MDPV, the safer is better: but for something like mdpv which is totally fun if you intend it to be or empathagoic stimulant in my case, and I have binged well more than 48 hours all insuffulated, my comedown was not half as bad.
I did however get what might have been in the top 5 most psychotic breakoutb however, but a good nights rest with some omegs 3-6-9 was all I needed with some stretching in the gym.
5-http seems a little too much to playing with serotonin levels as not much I know abt Mdpv and serotonin levels, so I would avoid it. May be some melatonin may be again not needed in my opinion . B vitamin again I would prefer in a.more natural form, so with a multi vitamin, try giving garden of life a try; absolutely must have for us
