Not sure Knocks, maybe the school insisted he was just a mongo and there was nothing they could do about it.
 
It happened. When I was at school, dyslexia was unknown and victims assumed simply to be bad at spelling. And southpaws were forced to write with the " correct" hand under threat of punishment. So much for the good old days.

Aye, I've heard stories of people being to forced to eat with their knives and forks in the wrong hands for their handedness (dextricity?)

My lefty brother was force to write with his right hand by one teacher. He was a smart fuck too. But then I'm a fucking genius and I'm a righty so who knows!

I love how y'all keep ignoring the fact that the 'someone' and 'somebody' in Sam's sentence applies almost exclusively to males (and when it applies to females there is nearly always, if not always, a male involved too).

Indeed. For a different take, lads, remember that red hot female teacher you had when you were 15? If she'd suggested you got it on, would you have thought yourself (a) one lucky fuck or (b) an abuse victim?
 
Every red hot female teacher I fancied when 15 turned out to be a lesbian. Well they must have been, right, if they didn't come on to me? I mean, all the sexually developed teenage girls had no trouble getting old men's dicks. I'm sure you can see the subtle point I'm hammering with a sledgehammer folks.

But as to your second point CC, about the minor feeling lucky, not abused? It doesn't matter what the minor feels. Not, certainly, as far as the law is concerned. Yes, the lines that are drawn are arbitrary but it's a 30 year old idiot who doesn't adhere to them concerning his 15 year old female charge.

Of course there has to be compassion shown in grey area cases, like in the case with the teacher from Eastbourne. France has a law that discriminates crimes of passion doesn't it? Maybe the same could apply here. One teacher going off once with a minor is a crime on a completely different level to Savile for example.

I'm making a point there is no biological male inclination (justification?) to fancy youthful looking types. If there were, then there would be/currently are about a billion or two males fighting off this 'irresistible urge' so as not to fall foul of the law.

There's probably a billion or two males being encouraged by a patriarchal society to play out imbalanced power fantasies mind you.

I've never claimed there's an inbuilt, exclusively male biological inclination toward younger females; only that ephebophilia (as opposed to paedophilia) is a widespread, widely-acknowledged phenomenon and has been for centuries. And that goes for both males and females.

Never used the phrase 'irresistible urge' either. Or anything like it.

Erm... the word? Maybe. The phenomenon? Much older than that. The map is not the territory as Count Alf once said. Did gravity not exist before somebody named it?
