Gibberings CXI: Faster flappin' robin

I'm enjoying it man. I'm liking this Strobe Lights, Techno, Acid or whatever it's called track that's belting out the now. It's Pierre anyway, cannae be arsed looking back at the tracklisting. Mine is nearly uploaded. I rarely use effects.

Fuck having to mix quietly. I still had it at reasonable listening volume earlier & just sacked it because I was fucking up too much. I need it belting out, so that the cue volume on the headphones has to be turned up to the max for them to be any use lol.

strobe lights lasers disco is on the same release as Let Me See You Dance, out a couple of weeks ago,Pieerrrreeeeee <3 :) Juno downloads.

I wish I could bang music out loud, neighbur complained once about the fucking computer speakes.

Yeah, I'm having a listen to MM and it's enjoyable. Sometimes I think acid is really my favourite dance music. I like it's lack of "sophistication" without it being fucking shitty trance.

Is that even acid though? Or is it Dutch Techno? I'm actually shit with genres.

I see MM is off to bed. Maybe PT can have a listen to that and tell me what genre it is.

My neighbours are sound as long as it's not late at night. There's times when I've got it absolutely thumping & no-one's said anything.

Fuck knows what's up with this recording of mine, seems a bit crackly. Must have fucked about with some setting somewhere.


Edit - Knock, that's just some mad techno. It's not what I would call Acid. I'm not brilliant with genres myself though. Acid has much more prominent squelchy 303 on it though, it's quite distinctive.
 
I'm well happy, I've been trying to learn to mix for about a year now, 18 months even, and i'm only just getting the hang of it, and two peaople on here like it. Thanks knock and crackheed, you've made my day/night... <3

I think a lo of genres can be acid, all good quality electronc music should have a trippy edge to it, there's a lot o house, funk even drumandbass sounds like acid to me, but yeah knock, genre-wise acid needs 303's, prominent fuckers. :)

I'm listening to the best bit of my mx, the 20 minutes of system 7 Alphawave (plastikman mix).....=D 20 faultless minutes :D (just realised i dicked about with the effects, so maybe 17 faultless minutes)

I can't even contemplate being on a flight sober. It's an alien concept to me and I'm not interested in trying it. At the very least I need to be scooping bevie before and during the flight until I pass out because I cannot sleep on a flight sober, fucking torture. Even when I've flown business class I couldn't sleep without scooping champagne.
 
Well, it's 3AM and I'm nowhere near tired, and for once I'm kind of sober, i.e. I'm not trying to plan the revolution or work out how to persuade everyone in the world to understand communism overnight.
