Good day everyone at Bluelight,
I used to read many threads here and finally decided to join the Bluelight family.
I know there are other threads like the one I'm about to write too, hopefully this is not a problem.
I would like to have my own one about my first K experience and have a direct feedback.
I'm a 23 year old guy and I make electronic music. I own a couple of labels and co-own a third one.
I don't make a living out of yet, but I'm working on it and I'm happy about my work.
My weight is 65 kg.
Past drugs experiences with: hash/marijuana, mushrooms, lsa, lsd, 4 fma, mdma, cocaine, mephedrone.
I'm interested in trying and experimenting with Ketamine and my interest initially came from a personal will of research and introspection.
I started reading a lot about this substance and I came up with many books and ideas about it:
-"Ketamine: Dreams & Realities" by Karl Jansen.
-"Near-Death-Experiences" by Ornella Corazzza.
-"Alternatives to Involuntary Death" by Timothy Leary.
-"Altered States", a movie about John Lilly,
and other various books/articles.
I spoke a lot about it with my psychiatrist too.
He said my will of research, my prudence and my attitude is to be considered healthy.
What somehow worries me is to became insane, but reading John Lilly's books, seemed to be a "normal" feeling.
What interests me the most is to simulate a NDE, it could be enlightening for me. I read it can be very transformative and that K is a powerful antidepressant too. I used to suffer depression, now I'm a bit more happy but still I feel my life is "spiritually pointless".
Also, what interests me is to stimulate and enhance my abstract thinking, something that already happened with LSA & LSD.
Here the questions, very simple for an experienced user I guess.
-Which is the perfect place for the first time? Is it safe to do it alone? I thought about doing it lying in my bed in my studio.
-What do i have to expect from the first time? do i start with bumps? is the k-hole dose to be avoided the first time?
-Which kind of music is suitable? i had many synesthesias with LSA and LSD, and the music was enhanced a lot. Does ketamine do the same thing?
-i got ketamine testers. i read the isomer s is the most psychedelic one. is that true?
I hope to find some help and understanding about this.
