i tried lsd for the 1st time and i though i would hallucinate and see different colors but it was so different. my stomach felt weird like as if i was going down a roller coaster and i felt very energized and i was laughing alot. also i seemed to be attracted by lights. my question is do people really hallucinate and see different colors on lsd?

hallucinating, in my opinion, is more like seeing things that aren't there, more along the lines of delusional. Eat 15 benadryl and see what I mean.

Psychedelics offer visual distortions/enhancements/patterning. It sounds like you may have had a low dose.

or it wasnt LSD

And its totally possible to see things that arent there on a high enough dose of LSD...

I was quite surprised by tripping the first time I did it. I thought it would be like that 70s show visualisations, which is essentially hallucinations, but it is really a lot more in the mind than anything. 2cb is more like how you imagine tripping before you actually do it IMO.

Sounds exactly like LSD. If you took a higher dose you are sure to see morphing and visual distortions. But at lower doses you will very much feel the energy and attraction to lights :)

Could very well have not been LSD.... Did the blotter have any noticeable taste or possibly have a stinging sensation on your tongue? I am thinking it was not do to the laughing fit and extreme energy as that reminds me of the only time I KNEW I had a fake tab due to the fact it stung my tongue when it was on it. What I remember from that night is I barely had any visuals, me and my friend where laughing like hyenas and could barely stop as everything was just historical for some reason, my leg was bouncing as if I was tweaking, and I just could not sleep at all that night.

Really though no one can tell you why what happened happened as not only do none of us not know what you possibly had, but even if you had LSD it is a very confusing compound as well as it acts differently in every person due to the fact we are all different

Again if you let us know if the blotter had a burning sensation of some strong taste than it is likely it was not LSD, but no one can tell you what it was. Did you get it from someone trusted who many people know to have legit LSD or was it just someone who said they happened to have LSD?

People overreact so easily "WAS IT REALLY LSD??" He hasn't even said anything that would make him think it wasn't actually LSD.

Laughing - Check
Energized - Check
Pretty Lights - Check

Sounds how I would describe 100 mics. If you took ~4 tabs things start to get very psychedelic.

Sounds like LSD to me, too. It always seems to take people by surprise the first time. I don't know why a person would actually want hallucinations, but if you dose high enough, you can get there

^ Me neither. I only got visuals my first time on lsd, and even then I realised they were kind of beside the point, and that something much more profound was going on than seeing some cool colours.

Anyone who says they dont get visuals from LSD isn't taking enough. Eat a 10 strip of some good L and get back to me. I at three hits of what I forgot was from a "mop" sheet and was blasted to the moon. I ended up totally consumed by swirling colorful patterns. (a mop sheet is whats used to soak up all the remnants after laying sheets making it very potent)

As to OP, sounds about right for a light dose. Eat a few more next time and things should get more interesting.

first off, love the handle. My buddies and I always we say are shpongled when we get to a certain point lol. Second, you are totally right sounds like a single dose of 60-80 micrograms, or something that wasn't even acid.

A higher dose may mean more visuals for you, but not everyone is going to have the same experience. I absolutely believe it when people claim they don't get visuals, or get weak visuals, even from high doses. As I just said in another thread, the psychedelic experience is highly variable and subjective.

Have you ever knows someone that didn't get visuals on high doses of L? I am not asking this sarcastically, im honestly just curious. I agree that the experience is subjective and variable but I have yet to meet someone thats eaten a high dose and not end up with a large visual component to the experience.

Do you believe that a high dose of ketamine wouldn't anesthetize someone; or that a high dose of morphine wouldn't put someone to sleep; or that a high dose of methamphetamine wouldn't keep someone awake past their bed time?

People aren't that different. People CLAIM that they are different; and people CLAIM that they took more than they did; or that the tabs are stronger than they are. I'd rather mistrust a person's honesty; rather than a pharmacological fact. People believe what they are told, then a fiction is spread as the truth (knowingly or unknowingly). Trusting the word of someone who wants to take your money is very noble.

Thanks for the great examples and explanation. I would love to give someone who "gets no visuals" from L a 1-2mg dose and see if that still holds true.

I have the same attitude towards people who claim that they can get 'much higher' than the psychedelic state with meditation alone. Would they still claim that after being injected with 500mg of DMT? [I don't even know if that is safe dose. Surely it's overkill, by a factor of 10, but anyway(!): The point remains.]

I was at a party with my friends brother, who told me that he had taken a gram of MDMA. He was obviously on speed (talk, talk, talk...) - I tried it myself to confirm, being a seeker of truth. He had been swindled - drug dealing scum. Funnily enough, he didn't care: because he "felt great". £40 for a gram of crap speed -- money well spent, to him: He'd read about MDMA and finally he had 'tried it' - it was everything that he imagined it to be, and he loved everyone - until I ruined it with 'truth'! The placebo effect was seen to vanish in the space of 2 minutes (first comes denial, then blame, finally 'acceptance'!)

There is a story of some Indian meditator-type (what are they called?! Guru, maybe) who took acid with Richard Alpert and said that he felt nothing at all. It is a myth, of course, Baba Ram Das (what a name!) later admitted that he had lied, to make a point (which was wrong; and wrong of him to do it). But still.... that's life! If people only ever have small doses, they can content themselves with being a "non-visual" tripper (or a non-tripper, whichever way you view it! - I'm sure that there is a mixture of opinion, regardless, because people's egos come into the equation: some people want to say that they have had massive doses of anything and "felt nothing". I've had a massive dose of speed, and it shows (sorry!). Oh, I didn't write all that much actually. Maybe it just seemed that way due to obsessive word-rearrangement!
