Good evening!

Hi. My name's D, and I have dipped into the vast knowledge base here for years. Thought I might be able to contribute a bit from time to time and certainly hope to. I actually popped on the site to find something out and ended up thinking 'just join already!'

So here I be. Hope we're all's well.

Thanks Spork. In my spare time I study, exercise and, when the opportunity presents, dabble recreationally in psychoactive substances. I am generally not into illegal drugs any more (exceptional circumstances aside!). So mephedrone was a big thing for me. I was definitely addicted to that shit. Recently I've largely been into Kratom, although a recent prescription has been a bit of a RC windfall! Only codeine so it's like winning the lottery and getting food stamps, but still - better than no-deine... that was a bad joke, I can only apologise.

Thanks Stardust, I will do that.

Aye Sir Captain Heroin. Thank you.

Tell you something funny - I only today saw the significance of the name 'Bluelight'.

Harm reduction = avoid the ambulance hence ambulance substitute hence 'Bluelight'. It was only after registering that I even realised that it's about harm reduction. Before that I thought it was just a place to find shit out about drugs. Glad to be better informed. :)

Taking amphetamines daily for years is just going to lead to a reduction in the euphoria/buzz you are going to experience. Sorry, there's no real way around this.

You could try taking short breaks every now and then, a long break and then resume with your usual dosing regimen, or you could try to just increase your dosage but this is the *worst* idea, as it is not likely to do anything but increase unpleasant side effects, and make it even harder to achieve the desired effects.
