Getting 4 hits of acid this weekend for one night. My source said HER source told her that it's not very good/strong. THAT'S why I'm doing 4 hits. 2 friends who are tripping with us (4 hits too) are doing MDA (they're calling it sassafras/sass) also, and THEY say they're taking 2 hits first with the MDA (at least I hope for their sakes it's real MDA) and then 2 later. They say 4 hits would be too much first. I don't know, so I'm asking Bluelight:

Should I take all four at once or 2 and then 2 later?

(Personally I'm inclined to all four >:D I've only done 1 hit before, nice perceptual changes but no real visuals. I'm not taking the MDA cause I've got no money and don't really wanna mess with stimulants...)

Potency can vary from sheet to sheet and even on the same sheet. You should try 2 and if you aren't feeilng much in 30-45 minutes take the other 2. Be careful though because there is a lot of nbome going around being passed off as acid.
 
I perosnally would play it completely safe and just eat 1 to start. One persons idea of weak, can be another persons rollercoaster ride. Like for example a dose for me that's "weak" would rocket my girlfriend through space.

Play safe guys. You can always take more, but never take less.
 
I once ate 2 hits off of a 20 hit sheet I had. The trip was pretty mellow with little to no visuals. Thought I could take 4 at once from the same sheet the next time, ended getting absolutely destroyed and was like I was in a cartoon world. The grass was 2D and when people talked to me all I heard gibberish/just a bunch of random words that made no sense. I couldn't even make a coherent sentence.

I'd start with 2 and then take the other two in an hour if you aren't satisfied.

I decided to take 2 and then see what happens, maybe take another 2 if I'm disappointed. But I've noticed that blotter acid takes forever to affect me... even 1.5 or 2 hours. Either way I hope I have an enjoyable, worthwhile experience. I'm tripping with my boyfriend, his best friend (we'll be at this guy's house), and his best friend's girlfriend... wish me luck! w00t :)
 
I'd say it takes about 1.5 hours to really start kicking in.

I try and estimate dosage by taking half and quarters of a tab. If you don't feel half a tab it's likely very weak. 40-50 mics etc. Has anybody tried half of one of these tabs?
 
Just be careful as everyone else has mentioned. These days it's almost reckless to dose 2 tabs without knowing for sure what it is. And by knowing for sure what it is I mean having tried/tested it yourself. 3rd party accounts of doses just isn't reliable information these days. And remember, not everyone reacts the same way to psychedelics.
 
Fossil_diver is right. Start with half the dose then wait and take more if necessary. I've found for myself that if I don't take the second dose within 90 minutes, it doesn't have as much effect, but if you do, then the second does will potentiate the first a lot.

When it comes to drugs I used to say go big or go home, meaning always go for the larger dose if you're unsure. Then I took way more acid and my view has since... changed. You won't die if it's too much, you'll just be really uncomfortable and if you're not in the right environment it can feel jarring.
 
Thanks everyone–– the trip went fine although I spent most of it silent because there were too many people for me to feel comfortable... :( Anyway I still have 2 hits left (I only took 2 and we rapidly realized we did NOT need more) and so next time I'll be sure to make myself not feel awkward and actually have fun.
