Smoking joints with asthma

Hey i have asthma. im suppose to blow a 640 on this test but i blow like a 590 whatever that means
When i smoke my lungs feel crisp and i get the dry cough. I was just in the hospital for bronchitus last night. I think brought on by the smoking and asthma because i was diagnosed with asthma 2 weeks ago. im on 2 imhalers now.

The doc in the ER told my my chest xray looks like that of a 50 year old and to quit smking anything ever again. My question is if i let the broncitus heal take maybe a month off cron and maybe only smoke like 1 small joint aweek will that be ok? I dont wanto give up smoking cron and i cant vaporize cuz im at home and i dont like eating it,.ive never had a asthma attack and its not to bad where i get times i can't breath. It seems to get bad when i smoke a few times a day.

Thoughts?

shit, i see i dont know if it was the asthma? or because id been sick since last sun? or because id been sick since last sun and then the smoking cron made it ten times worse and gave me broncitus from the asthma.


This all started 2 months ago when i started smoking cigs again and after a month i got the asthma, i quit the smokes 3 weeks ago. again. Id smoked for the last 11 years with maybe 2 of those 11 not smoking cigs hard. Also i smoked weed since i was 14 very very hard like 2 to 5 gs a day

MAN, quit smoking today and forget about SMOKE, its bad for your lungs

You can Vaporize WEED its more healthier than smoking no harm at all.

Also you can make butter with cannabis and then cook Cakes, cookies until you find the right measure and dose in order to get high (by eating you absorb 45% of THC, smoking only a 15%)

Try to make exercise like swimming and running in order to increase your lungs capability

STOP HURTING YOURSELF WITH SMOKE

I havent got asthma but i do own a digital desktop vaporizer:

I have something wrong with my bladder, and smoking for some reason can trigger intense pain, (As do tomatoes and onions surprisingly) But, vaporizing at lower temperatures does not cause me discomfort whatsoever.

You need to cross off Smoking as a Route of Administration. You have 3 Other options:

Vaporizing at low temps
Eating cannabis (even vaped weed edibles kick arse, especially the ones where the vape user has been using low temps)
Cannabis Tinctures

Stop Smoking please.

I know vaporizers are expensive but they are the most efficient way of using cannabis from the studies and tests ive seen, and i personally think my vaporizer paid for itself and more a long time ago :)

Thanks for answering my questions guys. I guess im done smoking for life.....no more bongs.. or joints even like once a week....sigh.


One last question if im doing opiates, benzos or stims. Things that increase or decrease your respitory system will this hurt my asthma?? or is it just the smoking ROA that will fuck me up? For instance snorting a line of coke has no effect on my breathing, lungs or asthma correct?
 
If you snort coke (and all the shits used to cut it) it goes directly to your lungs and you could have an allergic reaction and end in ER

Try to eat weed its the best way to calm down the CARVING SENSATIONS!
 
Vaporize, man. (and at a reasonably low temperature, and not often)

Get an attachment that connects your vaporizer's whip to a bong for an even cleaner hit.
 
What drugs and ROA can i still use without having an asthma attack or dying?

Please serious replies only. I can't live a sober life but don't have a death wish. obviously i cant smoke anything but there has to be some drugs. Also i have a fucked up back, knees and neck and will mostly likely be need pain meds in the future like oxy. Can i even take that?

A list of drugs and why they would be ok to take without hurting myself would be very appreciated.

Okay listen. If your going to ask a general question about your athsma your in the wrong area.

A. I will say that although yes weed can totally cause a cough, weed alone will not lead to asthma. But ANY smoking if you have asthma that bad, to the point the doc said you lungs looked like that of a 50 year old? Any would be bad. That would not be caused by weed, or its highly unlikely. Cigarettes maybe, if you were already prone to get asthma smoking cigarettes could worsen it for sure. As the others said you need to vaporize, its less smelly, and wont hurt your lungs.

B. This is Cannabis discussion, if your going to ask general questions about your asthma this is the wrong place. Sure people here can awnser your questions about other drugs interactions with asthma, but i recommend you go start a thread in Basic Drug Discussion or Other Drugs if you want better advice about the interactions of opiets, benzos or other things and your asthma.

I prefer to keep my topics Cannabis related here.
