just like in school, some of my friends would fly off the handle if someone called their mom a whore or w/e. i however knew my mom was nowhere near anything as exciting as that, thus the insult meant less than nothing to me.)
samhain: i like you, think your pretty smart and dont want to argue for the sake of it. but twice youve mentioned glassing people for saying something you particularly find offensive. you kinda lose the high ground when using bullying tactics to enforce an anti-bigotry point (bullying in that you sound like you can take care of yourself)
