I imagine that 83 mg pure MDMA corresponds to a dose of 100 mg MDMA.Hydrochloride (as MDMA is stable as a salt, and Hcl is the most common salt). The ratio of the atomic weights of Hcl and MDMA are around 0.17:0.83 (hence totalling 1, with 17 mg hydrochloride).
 
But the military guy was a big unit, that dose was probably annoying as it prolly not enough to get you to your peak...
 
It should be more widely publicised that Ofcom requires that:

Drugs, smoking, solvents and alcohol
1.10 The use of illegal drugs, the abuse of drugs, smoking, solvent abuse and the misuse of alcohol:
must not be featured in programmes made primarily for children unless there is strong editorial justification;
must generally be avoided and in any case must not be condoned, encouraged or glamorised in other programmes broadcast before the watershed (in the case of television), or when children are particularly likely to be listening (in the case of radio), unless there is editorial justification;
must not be condoned, encouraged or glamorised in other programmes likely to be widely seen or heard by under-eighteens unless there is editorial justification.

that's why they've brought this knobber in. "Fair and balanced reporting".

But he's seen a grown man die right in front of him.
 
I watched this with my ma, she was very impressed!

I highly doubt she's ever taken any 'hard' drugs in her lifetime but after the show she said she'd like to try mdma. She then asked me have I ever tried it and I said ''once or twice'', she laughed. Shes not as naive as I had thought!

Will watch the next show with her and see how she responds if I tell her I can get my hands on some
