Problem is that every article merely says it's been proposed (most were written late 2011/earlier this year), but I can't find anything on whether the legislation has been passed?

Luckily it seems agricultural, gardening and botanical groups have gone absolutely spastic over it as it literally covers ANY DMT containing plant, and they sent in big submissions against it, pointing out how broad and ludicrous such a ban would be.

According to Erowid DMT-containing plants are only illegal in South Australia, but this might be outdated?

Anyone know anything about this???

There was a lot of discussion about this last year. I'm not aware of it's passage through parliament...I assume that "no news is good news", but I can't say that with any confidence.
I don't have time to search right now, but there was definitely lots of talk about this on aus dd.

Google garden freedom.

Yeah I checked out gardenfreedom, but like everyone else they have heaps of stuff from 2011 warning about it, but then it just goes quiet and doesn't seem to have been updated at all.

I guess like spacejunk says that no news is good news. I tried real hard to find what the conclusion was but couldn't find anything.
