DXM and Yohimbine

So my dog wants to know what the timeframe should be between taking Yohimbine and DXM.

He last took 20mg of Yohimbine 25 hours ago, is that long enough to take DXM or is that still too early and
would cause some severe problems?

i would wait several days if not a couple weeks, yohimbine is a maoi inhibitor so however long it takes to get out of your system is how long it will take to avoid possible death.

we don't do the "my dog" shit here

Yohimbine in combination with drugs that inhibit the reuptake of norepinephrine, such as dextromethorphan, tramadol, some antidepressants, and central nervous system stimulants used to treat ADHD, can cause a Hypertensive Crisis. This is due to those drugs in combination with an a2 receptor antagonist leads to too much norepinephrine in the brain, which causes blood pressure to spike to dangerous levels.

wait 24 hours at least

So pretty wide field of discrepancy here.

So which of you is right?

Avoiding death or brain damage is preferred here.

Longer is better when it comes to drug washout times

It really depends on your physiology. The total half-life is 6-8 hours for the main metabolite of yohimbine - do the math

So that would be around 2.5mg left then.

Then probably another 2mg from 2 days before.

Is that substantial enough to still cause a problem?
