^Any psychedelic drug can elicit an ego-boosting trip if you allow it. It is all about how you use your mind. The trip is about the mind, not about the drug.

You can delude yourself in to believing almost anything on a high dose psychedlelic trip.

I've never felt very connected to earth on DOC either. However, my last time taking it, I did feel extremely connected to the sun.

Thats a good point, but this felt more like a feeling of power induced by the DOC similar to how MDMA induces empathy.

It more felt like a feeling produced by the drug. I found a erowid report with a very good descripiton of it ( http://www.erowid.org/experiences/exp.php?ID=51677 ). Just wondering if other people may have felt this also.
 
anyone have any experiences or stories regarding DOC combos? been meaning to combine some 2c-b at the tail end of a DOC trip today, and am still wondering if its doable....
 
well, to answer my own question, there wasnt much interaction between DOC (at ~2mg) and 2C-B (15mg, taken orally at T+8h). the 2c blended nice and right in, but they didnt seem to synergize all that much, in fact the 2c felt like a weaker trip than one not added on top of another chemical. Both trips ended together at T+12h, with minimal after effects.
would i do it again? sure. at the same level? probably not.
id rather try to combine DOC with something else. shrooms perhaps...

also, DOC is quite nice in a party setting, at low doses, i must say. delicious.
 
One of my favorite combos for an all day fun trip is DOC + 2c-p. I won't mention dosages because mine tend to be higher than normal.
 
DOC is so wonderful. I've been having tons of fun with it as of late and the only worry is the dang muscle tension it can end up causing at lower end doses for me. I with JN on wanting to try it totally pure in a specified isomer, would be amazing if done like that! As far as combos, DOC like LSD really melds well with everything, especially at varying doses. Lately i've simply been insufflating/IM'ing .25-5mgs for varying leveled trips. At levels low levels I find I can add nearly any psychedelic and it will complete nicely, though I am a combo man myself, I find DOC to be one of those more general tuned laid back gentle psychedelics, so it aids well with others. They end up complimenting/playing well together. 2c-B/DOC is actually one of my personal favorites. In fact I think I may go add some 2c-B into the light grade DOC bit i'm experiencing thanks to this post, haha. Plus with nasal DOC the duration is obviously more manageable/toned then oral is, though side effects like nausea/etc are faster onseting more supreme than oral obviously as well.
 
I took the 4-AcO right about when I was peaking on DOC. So what is that, like 6-8 hours in? We kind of just did it when it felt right.
 
DOC lasts a long time, but the peak is definitely not 6-8 hours (not saying that to "prove you wrong," just wanna help give an answer to the question), it's at about 3-4 hours. So if you wanna take the 4-aco when you're peaking, take it at 3-4 hours.
 
I love combos and my perfected formula for the best results is as follows. If the substance takes one hour to come up and you took that first and are planning to take a secondary substance, the optimal time to take it is at around the 45 minute mark, that way they both start working in simultaneous action, an hour will work just find but I don't like being wasteful and theres always that whole receptor saturation jargon.....
 
Doing 5mg this weekend at grizzly bear concert. First time in awhile I've visited this wonderful material. SOOO EXCITED!! :D

I'm also counting the time it takes for DOC to kick in, which for me is about 2 hours.

How's smoking weed or synthetic cannabinoids on DOC? I enjoy smoking weed on most psychedelics but on some like 4-AcO-DMT it can make the trip more lighthearted and take away from the spiritual side of the trip.

In your experiences is DOC + Weed a good mix? :)

Furthermore, what sort of duration should I expect from 1x 4mg blotter? Since I'm aware duration is very dose sensitive with this compound :)
 
DOC is normally pretty clear headed, but the weed+DOC combo produces a disproportionately larger amount of headfuck than either substance produces on their own. be prepared to possibly be more confused than you expect to be. with that in mind, tho, it is a solid combo.

How far into the trip (at 4mg) would you recommended waiting to get a full taste for the substance on its own before I add the good ol' herb? :)
 
~5-7 hours in i'd say, somewhere in there. enjoy your first time on DOC, its a good one. :) i prefer DOI. i like the dirty, stimm-y feel of DOI, heh =p most people say DOI has too much of a body load . DOC is definitely great tho. its transparently psychedelic, if that makes sense at all.

oh, regarding your question on duration, it definitely is a long one, as i'm sure you know. 1 4mg dose should have you tripping pretty hard til like 10 hours in, at which point you've been tripping for so long that you actually become used to the headspace. the actual effects last well into the next day (regardless of what time of day you dose it), but yeah, you get used to the headspace eventually, so "duration" with DOC doesn't tell the whole story really.

Very true! I had difficulty completing sentences after I smoked weed on a DOC trip. Although for me, DOC definitely produces more headfuck than your average 2C, but still much less than tryptamines.
